NO stars. The absolute WORST property mgmt group EVER! Fees keep going up while the neighborhood has gone to pot. They do NOTHING but take our money for the Board. They don't inspect properties, hold owners to the HOA rules or anything. Just a broker for HOA fees that MUST be paid or else.

Updating my bad review to a five star - after some misunderstanding due to an accounting error I worked with Gerald Dori and he was able to get my closing documents fixed! All within a short time of 48 hours of me bringing the issue to his attention! BIG thank you to digging into my account and getting this done with time to spare!!

Dealing with them is the kind of misery that I would not wish on my worst enemy. We hired them as the property management company for a small condo building and dealing with them has just been dreadful. Specifics would just prompt a ridiculous long response from this company.

I just want to know if a property is available so I can tour it and possibly apply but no one answers calls or emails or the online website request it’s a rental property I’m very interested in and just would like someone to call me with some information.

I would never rent purchase or do any business involved with Tidewater Property. Very poor management, communication and problem solving skills. I don't understand how they are in business. I don't know where they got their accountants from or how it could take over a year to discover accounting discrepancies and to rectify them. They need to have more qualified accountants working for them. If Tidewater is the manager of anywhere you are considering living, jump run or fly in the opposite direction.

I received an email from a Tidewater representative on Friday, August 11, based on my previous review. He stated that the trash will be removed from the building. The trash was NOT effectively removed from the building. As of today, August 14, several recyclables remain on the premises as well as the dead flies. They can also be seen on the previous review. The representative also stated that the contractor will arrive to my apartment to assess the window in-person at 1PM Friday, August 11. I had been at my apartment waiting since 12PM that day. The contractor was a no show. I used leave from my job only to get stood up Smh. Thank you for the 'reply' but nothing was resolved.

If I could rate them 0 stars I would. I called to inquire about my account and wanted to speak with someone so I could pay the current month's HOA fee. The woman on the phone refused to talk to me, was extremely rude and then hung up on me. They are the absolute worst about returning phone calls, clearing up issues and basically everything else that they "handle." I can't wait to sell my home and get away from them.

Gail, so you're saying in your response to Marc's review that the 1819 Hillburne listing is indeed a scam listing? Knew it sounded too good to be true. It does clearly say Tidewater on there. You should get it removed if its a scam rental listing. I too have tried to call your office and no one answers.

Tidewater has had a rental house in Crofton MD listed for the last week. Price is amazing (about $1,000 less per month than it's worth). Tidewater doesn't return Zillow messages, nor do they answer the phone at their own office! Just a horrible experience. And if I was the homeowner who is trusting my house with them, Tidewater is helping them lose $12,000 a year. Horrible

The worst property management company I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I have been a president of HOA's in the past, and the staff's lack of concern is appalling. I provided proof of overpayment during the duration of the transition from our previous mgt company, and they would not accept those bank records for $33 engaged a lawyer, threatened a lien on my property, and ignored all of the documentation and proof. They would not talk to a representative from my bank and insisted that I pay again. Then proceeded to add a $10 per month late fee to my account + the $400 legal fee. I am starting a petition to out the company from my HOA.

The owner of 1819 Hillburne Way, Crofton MD, 21114 needs to be aware of how Tidewater Property Management, Inc. is handling their property. Tenants/possible tenants are not able to contact the owner directly making Tidewater able to completely ignore tenants needs and possible tenants requests for tours and the owner is in the dark about the lack of performance from Tidewater. The owner is now putting the home up for rent and as possible tenants communicate a desire for a tour and have left messages for questions about the property, there have been ZERO responses. I have been interested in the home since 02May, left 5 messages on Zillow and 7 phone calls for Tidewater to answer, all ignored. I then left a written note on the property for the owner to have my direct phone number and the current tenants were home. They informed me that the home, the school and area are amazing but that they unfortunately would not recommend dealing with Tidewater because they are unresponsive with things in the home still left unmaintained/fixed since they moved in. If I were a homeowner I would at least want the reassurance that Tidewater would provide me contact information if they needed to give me personal feedback of the management company. Otherwise, it's a company getting paid by an owner with no idea of how they're really doing. How wonderful to be enabled to be so terrible! The answer to this review is not considering the fact that: 1) The homeowner uses Tidewater to find possible tenants, and those are definitely still considered customers/clients. If someone is shopping and using that store to shop, they are still a customer. Because the owners are paying for Tidewater to communicate back to those clients requesting tours, I'm pretty sure the owner is not getting what they are paying for if all those requests are ignored. Tidewater is the phone number on the listing. 2) The current tenants warned of severe issues they have with Tidewater. They also said they have severe issues with Tidewater letting them contact the homeowner directly. No matter what the concern is, Tidewater will not let the tenants know who the homeowner is. Luckily, I gave them resources how to find the owner of any property should they ever have to deal with another property manager blocking them from getting anything resolved from poor property management services. Even in their response, it seems they throw up their hands, claiming they're not responsible. It speaks volumes of their stance they take in the part they play in not doing their job. I declined a tour because I would never deal with such poor property management. I looked at 15 houses and not one of them completely ignored me the way Tidewater did. Also, the response has an outright lie in it. There was NEVER a single communication to me before I finally told them that I was seeking to contact the owner directly due to ZERO communication on their end. I have the owners information and this poor elderly man is being taken advantage of by Tidewater.

if i could put no stars thats what i would leave!!! sorry for the exrra long post but i need people to know what they are going to get themselves into!! if you own a home & need someone to actually rent it out & take care of it for ypu do not choose these people. they lie to your tenants, con people for there money, racist, unprofessional, poor communication, they deny anyone for anything & don't realize covid just passed people where all in hardships & they just said screw you! they won't even submit your application to another property because they want to steel your money again.dont have nothing on your background even if it was from 20 years ago they wont care!!! people who run this company is why alot of people are homeless today!!! just remember if you need someone to trust to run your home if you dont live here or just dont want to deal with tenants please dont choose them spend the little more money & get someone who cares!! may i also add that they let peoples property go to crap & not take care of it but expect the tenants to do so and they dont even follow their own rules to their own least!!! fyi i am also in the process of reporting these people sp if anyone else wants to join the bandwagon please feel free to comment or like or whatever & we can chat some more !! also on the search for the home owners of some properties so they know what they have working for them!!! just please if you dont listen to anything just listen to not waste your momeu because they will get so far into your life and still say we cant rent to you!! karma will be returned to this company for so many uears of this bs!!
