“Driven by here for years and never gone in because it previously looked a little worn down, and being a beer shopper, figured it would just be Bud and Miller territory. However driving by recently, I noticed things were polished and cleaner and almost brand new looking so decided to make a stop on the off chance they had some Oktoberfest that wasn't available in my normal stores. What a great surprise, everything is bright and clean and well organized with a huge section of beers (most refrigerated too), probably the second best (after Dawson's in SP) selection of variety in a 15-Mile radius. Prices seemed similar, if not a tad higher (I got 12-pack of Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest for $19.99). No lines and staff were moderately friendly. Definitely add this place to your list!”

“Decent cold beer selection, good liquor options, and their closing hours for the area are slightly later (not the latest but you can still run in and grab what you need). The staff are very friendly and will help you find something if you can't find it. And they're currently the only liquor store that's selling the Ghost energy drinks, that I know of. And if you can't find what you need here you can always cross the street...”

“Lady was very nice, prices are good and was offered discount for purchase over $50. So much price gouging from liquor stores these days, was refreshing. Selection could be better.”

“Pretty decent place. A little higher in price compared to the other liquor stores but not by much. The people are friendly and they take the heavier stuff out to your car. They also have a drive that window.”

“Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Their sign says “coldest beer in town” and that is right! They are also open 7 days a week and have solid hours. There’s also an ATM inside and various food, cooking ingredients, snacks and the like. Highly recommend!”

“177 is one of the bigger liquor stores in Pasadena, and their selection is decent. My only complaint—and it's been a problem for a few years now—is that they do not always have prices on the shelves for every item. I've experienced this particularly in the microbrew section.”

“Just recently went back to fifers after hearing it's under new management and that they planned on bringing it back to the way it used to be, especially the all you can eat seafood special. They definitely impressed me. They had everything on the seafood list available unlike in the past where they never had Dungeness crab, or ran out of clams. They had everything, and they weren't stingy with the portions. They gave us full trays freshly steam of what we asked for. All the food was good. The new fried shrimp were awesome and a must try. The ladies waiting on us were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place for the all you can eat seafood menu. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the price on the all you can eat seafood menu per person has shot up significantly. Still will make this a go to spot for some fresh seafood.”

“Easy to find things. The staff is helpful and helped suggest things they didn't carry. Parking is good. It is in a plaza with food, fitness and grocery. Convenient.”

“Typical liquor store. They have everything that I'm looking for and the cashier is really nice. One day, he noticed that my wife enjoys a certain wine but it goes quickly. He saved two bottles for me one evening. Super alert! Never a really long line and there is plenty of parking. My only issue is that I wish they had more mixers (light lemonade, light cranberry for example).”
