“Driven by here for years and never gone in because it previously looked a little worn down, and being a beer shopper, figured it would just be Bud and Miller territory. However driving by recently, I noticed things were polished and cleaner and almost brand new looking so decided to make a stop on the off chance they had some Oktoberfest that wasn't available in my normal stores. What a great surprise, everything is bright and clean and well organized with a huge section of beers (most refrigerated too), probably the second best (after Dawson's in SP) selection of variety in a 15-Mile radius. Prices seemed similar, if not a tad higher (I got 12-pack of Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest for $19.99). No lines and staff were moderately friendly. Definitely add this place to your list!”
“I've had a great experience at 177 liquor. Mary Ann and Mandy are amazing customer service representative. It is a pleasure for me to come into your store and see them. And Steve is very much awesome sauce.”
“With a surprisingly good variety, there was a single bottle of each item I was looking for, and the prices were on par with Total Wine. The location is very convenient on Ft. Smallwood Rd, and there was just enough parking for customers to quickly move in and out (very minimal parking, though, and a bit awkward to scurry off the main road straight into a parking space). I would worry that at any given time they may not have what I need, but based on my first experience, they do well having minimal stock of a ton of options in the front/main section of the store. The cashier was amicable and helpful (store layout is understandably less than ideal with the small space), and the checkout experience was efficient with no bags/boxes (I just got 2 things) or receipts.”
“Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly staff. Their sign says “coldest beer in town” and that is right! They are also open 7 days a week and have solid hours. There’s also an ATM inside and various food, cooking ingredients, snacks and the like. Highly recommend!”
“I love this store!!! It's clean and they have a ton of different things. Between the different wines, liquors and beers, I always find everything I need. The people are always friendly”
“Easy to find things. The staff is helpful and helped suggest things they didn't carry. Parking is good. It is in a plaza with food, fitness and grocery. Convenient.”
“I recommend everyone I know to shop here due to extensive knowledge of the top full time cashier. The prices are reasonable, cozy interior with charming decor. Shop is usually not crowded and every time I shop there my questions always answered and given space and time to make my selections. Occasionally vendors will bring new selections for free tastings. In addition, this store also sells cigarettes and has a huge selection of tiny bottles of liquor. This is not a store where hoards of people flock to for their ball game purchases. Indeed, it's a quiet store with a non- warehouse type atmosphere especially close in proximity to residents of creekstone village. I would give it 5 stars, yet sometimes the store shelf labeling are not updated with newest prices on newest products. Otherwise, at least one staff member who works here is extremely knowledgeable.”
“Pasadena Wine and Spirits is quickly becoming my go-to spot!
An absolutely incredible whisky collection, I would say easily one of the best in MD. The staff is more than happy to chat and help out with recommendations (whisky or wine for that matter). They have a number of store picks as well, the few I’ve picked up so far have all been fantastic!.
Well worth checking out if you haven’t been yet.”
