Every employee is nice and very welcoming. The commissary on base has much of the basic things you need and always remain stocked. The fresh produce could be maybe a little fresher and last longer when brought home but everything else is worth getting here, especially if you live on base.

There is a good selection of groceries at reasonable prices. However there is a 5% surcharge on everything you buy there. That is cheaper than MD sales tax on non food items. It is primarily for military personnel and their dependents.

This place is a hidden gem! Right on the bay! Get your eat on before 5 though everything shuts down at 5:00 really peaceful here.
