“Full transparency ... this location is better than the one in Suitland. Great customer service speaks volumes in a world where the average consumer is, more often than not, spending their money online, then in a brick and mortar location. Personally, I'm super fed up with unsmiling, short tempered cashiers giving more attention to their phone than my transaction.”

“I have lived in Dunkirk for over 30years and in the first week of October my husband passed away.Things have changed drastically and have been very difficult for me. Sheryl was my cashier and I had told her that my husband usually was the one that did our grocery shopping; but he wasn't with us anymore and I was feeling overwhelmed and out of my element. “The staff at Dunkirk Safeway, including the management, cashiers, deli, meat/seafood department and pharmacy, is very friendly and willing to help customers. The store is neat and well-stocked. The manager is often seen out on the floor or in various departments assuring that shelves are well stocked and that things are running smoothly.”

“This is the easiest 5 star review I'll ever write -- I love Sam's Wings. Located along the back wall of the Upper Marlboro Dutch Market, Sam's Wings Counter serves up some of the best fried wings and grilled flavored wings in the state. If you're unsure where it is, just look for the line...it's usually fairly long. My go-to order is an order of 5 fried spicy wings for $5.50 and a side of potato wedges for $1. The spicy isn't really that spicy, but it has great flavor and tastes great. The wedges go well with all kinds of sauces; they're thick cut so the 6-7 they provide per pack are plenty as a side dish. Their cut wings are DELICIOUS and reasonably priced at about $8 a pound. My favorite are the seasoned (salt and pepper) wings and the old bay wings. They also offer BBQ, sweet n' spicy, and buffalo. I've tried them all and would gladly have any of them. They offer a few other options such as chicken tenders, green beans, rolls, and rice along with drink options lemonade and sweet team. Go with the lemonade, it's perfect. The only drawback is that they wrap the food tightly in aluminum foil -- the steam from the wings often softens the food and it's not quite as crispy when you get home. The foil does make for an easy to go plate, however. I try to go to Sam's every other weekend -- it's a great place to grab a quick meal just for myself or larger order of wings and sides for friends to enjoy. If I could give more than five stars, I would!”

“I live about 1hr 44 mins away my friend works here and I had promised to come visit her. I was really surprised at how big the place was. Super clean and neat. Packed indeed but that's the fun in places. The people there are super friendly/patient and informative to the newbies such as myself. I had my 4 yr son with me who got over the counter treats wherever we went. From fudge to cheese to donuts. Everything is highly fresh. The pizza is killer good. OMG and the frappe and coffee and the pretzels. Well I might as well say everything.”
