“I needed an emergency appointment since my dog was having symptoms and was not eating. Our regular vet was not available that day so I called countryside animal clinic. They gave me a same day appointment and Dr Valentino and her team very fantastic with my dog and with me as a pet owner. Dr Valentino did some labs right away that helped her diagnosed my dog’s condition and to provide a treatment plan. I am very grateful for her professionalism and her knowledge. Dr Valentino was so empathetic and caring.”

Their team helped our dog overcome allergies to certain trees and grasses, performed a successful neutering, and provided critical treatment for my niece’s cat who had ingested over 51 hair ties. They also diagnosed another cat with an enlarged heart and were incredibly compassionate during the difficult decision of putting seriously ill pets to sleep peacefully. “They may not be the cheapest place around, but the limited staff is the same staff that always sees your pup. So for someone like me that is at the vet at least 10 times a year they are great with her. They know her name, personality and now that they are letting owners back into the office with the pets I can truly see how much she loves them when she arrives.”
“Dr Mitchell and her team are just fabulous! She came highly recommended by my friends and colleagues, many who have been with her since she opened Animal Medical Center. She is very methodical in her approach to everything (rather than people who say you need every test on the sun) and Dell was so relaxed being AT a vet's office he fell asleep on the tile floor!
WE got test results in under 24 hours and were able to schedule a necessary ultrasound (recommended by previous vet; didn't want to take him to VCA) within a weeks time.
Dr. Mitchell and her vet techs take the time to discuss things with you rather than making you feel like you are on a hamster wheel time wise - of course we come prepared with all records and believe in partnering with our providers which means being prepared to make good use OF their time. “We brought our dog in from another urgent care facility as her issues seemed to be neurological. The staff at BVNS was very kind and caring. They kept our dog comfortable while preforming their work up on her. Then we talked with Dr. Wood. She very clearly explained our options and we discussed the different scenarios that arise from the options we had. She was very professional and compassionate while working with us during these difficult times. The front desk person, Arlette was also very patient and kindly answered all of our questions as first-time dog owners. Would recomend BVNS and their staff for dogs that need their services.”

Today I met a nice veterinarian Dr Fabrizi who took the time to explain to me the process of what kidney failure is and how can I make my cats life better. He was understanding and answered all my questions. I will recommend this vet clinic to anyone who cares for their animals ! And even though I live an hour away will not change them for no one. I know my cats and dog will get the best care!”
“Dr. Pantín was phenomenal. She took the time to actually hear our concerns and view videos of our pupper during a thunderstorm. She was gentle and gave my pup lots of treats and love. “First time grooming for our 5 Mo. old bernedoodle. Scheduled online, which was pretty easy. Store opens at 9 but grooming opens at 8. Someone was there to slide open the door since I wasn't sure how that was possible.We met April and she assessed Gus and helped me decide what type of cut would be good for him. She was thorough and caring and we are really happy with her work. Will be back!”

“Our dog that was in labor gave birth to 3 puppies in 34 minutes and then stopped, after a few hours(longer than we should have waited) we decided to bring her to a vet as we called around frederick and Hagerstown no one would take until we called The LIFECentre Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Care they said they would take her. when we showed up we were grabbing the paperwork to fill out and before we had time to sit down they came and got talvi and her puppies to bring them to back (was expecting some delay when showing up) shortly after the vet was ready to see us. After explaining her situation and our financial situation they worked with her for hours through a very tough birthing process . The staff is absolutely wonderful they worked with us so that this wouldn't put us deep into debt since surgery was a absolutely last result due to price. they managed to help guide her to birthing the rest of the puppies to the best of their abilities. I couldn't ask for a better vet vist I was so worried going into there but they made us feel comfortable even our dog was comfortable with them taking her out of the room away from us no problems. To sum this up I will forever suggest this place to anyone if they are having animal problems I've never been in a vet that professional and yet so personable at the same time I'm sorry I don't remember the names of the ones who helped us I was extremely sleep deprived(still am) but I want to give a huge thank you to them and everyone else who works there you all are absolutely amazing definitely saved out dogs life and her puppies thank you so much. They definitely went above and beyond.”
“Very nice staff. Seem to have everything one needs for their pets. They also have a grooming service; a lovely cat hotel for adoption of cats; and other pets for purchase ( hamsters, etc...). Prices are fair and they are very knowledgeable.”
