Dr. G explains the options and does not pressure you to do anything you’re not coworkers for your pet. Jessica did a great job explaining medications and care for our pet’s issue. Today I met a nice veterinarian Dr Fabrizi who took the time to explain to me the process of what kidney failure is and how can I make my cats life better. “If I could only see 1 veterinarian and 1 lead tech for the rest of my dog's lives it would be Dr. Susan Conway and Tara the Lead Tech. I apologize for not knowing Tara's last name. Dr. Conway is so incredibly down to earth and honest, I love her. She knows a lot about breeds that are less common. She makes herself available even when she is on vacation. What vet does that?! Dr. Conway gets it. These pets are my children. Tara helped me so much when my English bulldog injured his back foot. We had to go daily for check ups. She cared for his wound thoroughly with no pain. She loves my bulldog like he is her own. She takes takes selfies with him and makes him feel so special. I want to extend a very special thank you to another vet here. His name is Dr. Brian Carsen. He helped me on one of the worst days of my life. He helped my 200+ pound English Mastiff Sherman over the rainbow bridge. He was so compassionate and smart. He thought way outside the box to make sure we were able to take Sherman to his final resting place ourselves. Dr. Carsen, thank you. And finally Dr. Robbins, thank you for telling me I needed the sonogram for Sherman. It's because of you that we found out he had cancer. Clients for life!”

“The front desk, Erica, and Dr. Cox were all fantastic. I had such a great experience coming here with my cat Kady. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I had my 5 month old daughter with me and they were very patient and also so helpful by helping us in and out of the building. They got us in the same day as well which was such a blessing. Pricing was fair and I didn't feel pushed or guilty to spend money. Thank you to all the staff there! “Our Yorkie-poo was badly bitten by a neighbor’s Rottweiler and we rush him to this office for emergency care. The staff was extremely responsive to the needs of our boy and took him in immediately. They fully explained the treatment plan and potential outcomes. One of the staff members even texted me a photo of him so I could see how he was doing during his stay. He had multiple puncture wounds on his face and lost skin on his lower lip which needed surgery. Thank you for taking such good care of him. It has been 10 days and he is healing well.”

“If I could rate Catoctin Veterinary clinic 10 stars, I would! I have been taking my dog Bleu to Catoctin since he was 4 months old and I refuse to take him anywhere else. I have seen three different doctors and they have all been so kind, professional, informative, and curtious. Whether it is a routine check up or an emergency situation, they do a thorough job and are SO great with my Bleu! Dr. Henneke and Dr. Robin are my absolute favorites-- they take their time when checking Bleu and explain any and all relevant information to me (in a way that I understand). I always leave my appointments reassured and feeling well informed-- and more importantly, Bleu leaves happy! There have been a few emergency situations and they squeezed Bleu in every single time. Additionally, the prices are SIGNIFICANTLY better than VCA-- which is where my dog went initially. Please, please, please go to Catoctin if you have a fur baby! You are in the BEST hands!!”

He is the perfect mix of conservative but necessary and I truly feel like I can trust him to not push unnecessary or overly expensive treatments. That being said, it’s still a vet in Loudoun county so it’s $$$$ but we won’t go elsewhere because of how great Dr. Melberger is.”

“I was referred to this vet by my local primary vet as my cat was very, very sick and my vet didn’t have what he needed to take care of him. This place was AMAZING!!!!!! My vet notified them I was coming and they were ready and waiting for us when we arrived. The internal medicine doctor was so wonderful!! She has left the practice now and I miss her but the doctor that took over I like as well. They took such wonderful care of my cat and have gone above and beyond to continue his treatment to keep him living. The compassion of the nurses and doctors blew me away! We need more people like them in our world!! I’ve recommended this vet to numerous people. I’ll never take my animals to any other emergency vet they have my business for life! When a doctor calls you directly to tell you how your fur baby is doing and the treatment plan he’s on and how he’s responding to the treatment plan, to me that speaks volumes!
