Had my windshield replaced in June. My emergency assist and lane assist features immediately stopped working. Took weeks to reach anyone for warranty claim. A guy came to my house to fix and said they never should have sent him he attempted to repair with no luck. He said someone would reach out to me to replace with OEM windshield. It’s August and NOTHING! Tried disputing the charge with my bank, no luck. I’ve been driving around in a car with great features I can’t use! BBB here I come!

On time delivery. Job well done. Would have appreciated the inside of the replaced windshield to have been cleared / cleaned. Other than that, job well done!

Service was pretty quick but it was surprising to be given my vehicle back with a new yet unusually dirty windshield. You would think cleaning a windshield prior to installation would job one. More disturbing was being told the
do's and don'ts with the new windshield,
but the warning to not drive for 30 minutes was not one of those. This only came in an email I received 10 minutes aftervI left. If the adhesive needs time to set, say so.

There seems to be a serious lack of communication with this shop. It took 3 appointments for them to install the correct OEM part on my vehicle. I would not recommend this location because the lack of communication and they don't have a manager.

Tyler replaced our explorer windshield in our garage in just over an hour with new A pillar moldings included. Appointment couldn't have been easier to book from the website. Very happy with the high value service provided.

Zero stars. This place is a rip off! They charged me 500 dollars to recalibrate my windshield. The dealership only charges 150. Robbery. No price match no help. Very rude manager. Don’t come here. Save your money

The Safelite Staff at the Prince Frederick was great! Appreciate the clear communication, quick check-in and check-out.Every step was very professional from explaining how long the repair would take to the Informative warranty review upon completion. My only recommendation for improvement is whether they can determine the need for the manufacturer’s products prior to your arrival, using pictures of damage or maybe based on make/model or VIN number. I had to make two trips, and even with extremely pleasant experiences each time. It would be more efficient for everyone to do it just once.

Setting the appointment was simple and straightforward. They sent multiple texts and emails leading up to the appointment regarding what to expect and payment options. However, a few key details were not communicated ahead of the appointment that would impact the installation. We dropped off the vehicle ahead of the scheduled appointment as recommended. I dropped off over night and there were no envelopes at the drop box. The next morning I received a call from the front desk stating that the back seats needed to be removed before they can install the rear window in my truck but they don’t do that. I had to leave work to drive 45 minutes and remove the seats. Very inconvenient and frustrating. In all the communications this could have been mentioned beforehand. The technicians did a very nice work on the install even though corporate ordered the wrong rear window. They technician didn’t clean all the pieces of glass from the rear seat area nor did they clean the smudges on the newly installed window. I will say tat the staff at the Price Frederick location were nice and polite to me and the ordering and poor communication wasn’t their fault. Though It would have been nice if someone could have called and mentioned this to their customers ahead of time. This happened to another customer while I was there and it appear that Safelight needs to update their process to confirm part ordering and making customer better aware of what is expected before the work can be started.
