Took my car in to get a new headlight. Dennis (at Peachtree Industrial Rd. in Suwanee) was AMAZING! He was so polite and so helpful. He was helpful in explaining things to me and even installed my two headlights! This likely saved me over a hundred dollars. I am beyond grateful!

I’ve been here 20+ times in the past few years, and have only bought something once or twice. They almost always waste my time in some way, shape, or form, whether it being they can’t locate the item in stock, don’t bother to check for it, don’t know what I’m talking about, or give me attitude about it. Not every advanced is like this, but this one is. There’s just like a disconnect between this store and their online offerings, and it just seems the employees either never know what I’m talking about, don’t care to understand, or just don’t know enough about cars or automotive parts to help.

The staff Bryan is such a wonderful guy! We stopped our car because the battery died. He did the jump for our car and we left for a charging run, but then returned because it was not working. He tested our battery and found it was really dead. We bought a battery at that point, and he installed it for us. He is not only very helpful, but also answered all our additional questions. I hope the owner can give him an award.

Worst spot ever came in at 7:30am for battery alternator check and they told me they do it at 9am i came back at 7pm they tell me they cant do it after 5pm. How hard us it to do a check anyways. And i told them i came in later because the guy in the morning told me to come after 9am and he says if your problems are that serious, why dont you just go to gas station. Worst associates. 8/31/23

Get your site and store together. Get your shit together. Site says you had something in stock. I came in store to get it. And it wasn't in stock. And even went back on site when at store and it still said it was in stock.

If there was a zero stars option I’d pick it! Horrible! Said can’t put battery in I suggest you go across the street to jiffy lube! Are they in business together!!! This just happened! Wow! What a Racket!!! Never shop here! Ever!

My key battery wouldn't work. Didn't know what battery size needed. I was told to google and look at video. 2 ppl working there. No one offered to help me. I will call AAA before shopping there again!!!! Absolute worst customer service!! No wonder place is empty

This place is lazy, I went to buy some shop towels. I saw there was a discount. I asked the manager for help, he had a hard time leaving his comfort zone at the cash register when no customers was in the store. After about asking for the 5th time he finally went to check the self for the discount I was requiring. It turns out I had to buy a cleaner to get the discount. I ask where to find the cleaner, he pointed to the area. I went to grab it, he said that's not it. I ask I don't see the same brand can you help me. He stayed at the register, when no customers was in the store. I was the only one, it was 20 minutes to closing. After he wasn't willing to help. I told him never mind and he said thank you. This store is one of the worst I been to. Now I'm buying this from walmart.

I will never buy anything else from Advance Auto Parts. On 12/29 I ordered online from the Advance Auto Parts store at 4009 Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh a Fully Automatic Battery Charger/Starter unit and paid $179 Upon getting it home and reading the manual, I found there is no way to use this without actually plugging in the unit and either taking the battery from your car to charge with the plug-in unit OR be near an electrical outlet to plug in this charger/starter. Who in their right mind would have thought you'd always be near an electrical outlet?! So I tried to return it 12/31 (never having used it) and was told company policy is all electronics are not returnable. The cashier said she asked someone in back (presumbably a manager) and no dice, no discussion. Nothing on the website in purchasing the unit says it's not returnable. Nothing on the receipt says it's not returnable. Only informs to check the return/refund policy online...on a receipt you get AFTER you've purchased. Now I'm quite po'd that I purchased a unit that does not do what i thought and will never use as intended, AND Advance Auto does not disclose the "not returnable" until AFTER you've made a purchase. I will NEVER EVER buy Advance Auto again and will discourage anyone else from doing so.
