It took two guys 30 Mins to pry it open for me using bars and wrenches . And they did it all with a great attitude. This place and team are the absolute best .”

“Working with Jason at Amicus Green Building Center was a lifesaver for me. I bought a recently-built condo in 2021, and I was having chemical sensitivity reactions to the materials in the condo, so I found Amicus Green online to try to find safer, less-toxic materials to put in my condo so I could actually live in it comfortably. He helped me order and color some AFM zero-VOC paints, and I was able to have the contractor pick them up from Amicus and bring them to where I lived nearby. I was also able to order some Earthweave 100% wool carpet and pads to replace the original carpets, and also worked with the contractor to pick up the materials directly from Amicus to install them.The combination of the zero-VOC paints, the Earthweave 100% wool carpet, and a couple of Austin Air carbon filters were enough to make my condo livable for me, and I'll always be grateful to Amicus for that. Jason was a helpful resource for gaining access to these types of natural home renovation materials, that I normally would not have had access to otherwise. I highly recommend Amicus Green Building Center for the safest, least toxic materials for any home renovation needs.”
“In the past while shopping at Home Depot (Bethesda), it was a struggle. Whether it was because of Covid or the lack of staffing, you would need to figure out things yourself. Sometimes you were very lucky when the staff would at least point in the directions of what you were looking for. Today, we stopped by to pick a masonry drill bit set and the customer service were through the roof! It was amazing! Wow, we were shocked at the level of customer service! Great job!!! Don”

Came in straight away after we asked for assistance, got a vanity that was waaaay on the top of their huge display racks but heard no complain from him, he was quick, patient and delivered our vanity with a smile and fistbump. great job! “This is my regular go-to for jobs around the house and is pretty much like any other Home Depot except for two things: 1. There are plenty of employees around, but most aren't of much help finding things or answering questions and 2. While they have a good selection and stock of standard fasteners, their metric and specialty fasteners are a hot mess. I would suggest you go to an Ace Hardware if you need metric fasteners.”
