“Giant has consistently been a reasonably
priced, popular grocery in the DMV. Stores
are clean employees very helpful. Unfortunately theft has been an ongoing issue which has necessitated raising prices. They have taken measures in stores with the most product loss like adding security guards and using new carts with devices that alert management when carts don’t pass checkout and leave the store.”

“This pharmacy is staffed by very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They are also very efficient. A big shoutout to the staff on 1/7/25 at near closing time. My son had an infection and the urgent care doctor sent over some prescriptions less than half an hour before closing. I called the pharmacy and they said everything would be ready within minutes. And it was. Another time, due to a storm, something couldn’t be filled right away and Vicki personally called a bunch of pharmacies and made sure I got what I needed in time.
Whether it’s Vicki, Kallie, or anyone else there, you get great service. Thanks!”

“Pretty good experience, pharmacist is professional and courteous. Most customers are fine but I’ve seen a few customers that are downright rude to the hardworking staff which is unfortunate. A few of the pharmacy techs are quicker and more efficient than others to retrieve meds and get you checked out. It takes a bit of patience sometimes as it’s an urban location with high traffic. Have some empathy for the staff and the pharmacist who is filling meds and also administering vaccines.”

They have been very quick and attentive with my medications even calling me if I don't call them. Nowadays that it seems like good customer service is a thing of the past, it is great knowing there are associates like Nicholas who still care about the customer experience.”

“This location is not as good as Bethesda. The hot bar has only a few Asian dishes, the Bethesda store hot bar is 1 side Asian the other traditional American such as sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, scallopped potatoes, baked chicken, chicken wings, etc. The bakery, deli, sushi, hiot bar, salad bar, and starbucks are on the 2nd level as are several tables. There are 2 elevators in the back to 2nd floor, but they are not near the entrance. They have a salad bar which Bethesda does not, so a point for them, but the lack of American hot selections is a ding. Both locations have hot pizza by the slice as well as premade sandwiches and sandwiches made to order. Neither store has salad in the deli counter, but they both have prepackaged salads, you just can't control the quantity. Apparently no Harris Teeters sell POM tea, only POM juice. Like in Bethesda and for no apparent reason, lil smokies hot dogs are in the butcher counter as opposed to with the regular hot dogs in the refrigerator. This is not intuitive and there are no signs indicating this so you need to be looking for it. The prepackaged hot chicken selection is better in Bethesda too--they have many packages of 2 quarters for $ 4.99, and basically none in Rockville when I was there. Lots of whole roast chickens though, $7.99 like the 8 piece packs., but basically nothing that is single serving. The Rockville store is at White Flint metro and in a large residential area, so convenient if you live nearby, but I think Bethesda is worth the extra trip down Rockville Pike. Bethesda is also walking distrance of Trader Joes, so kill 2 birds with 1 stone, Rocville is across the street from Pike and Rose, but Bethesda has more stores in walking distance without the super busy part of rockville pike.”

“You wouldn't think it would be hard to find chicken thighs with the skin on? Well, guess what? I spent an hour calling around to various Giants looking for my chicken thighs. It turns out more people want the skin removed. : ( Enter, my hero, Steve, the meat manager at this Giant. Who found my chicken thighs and put them in the back for me. All while he was there all alone in the meat section. This Giant is well stocked, has a great Gluten free section and Hispanic food section. The people who work there are very nice and accommodating. The store is well stocked. It is clean and is well managed. Located across the street from the Rockville Post Office, you can get two errands done at one time. Score! Thanks, Steve, my puppy and I thank you. Thanks Giant for the excellent service.”

“My only issue with this store was the wait in the retail area of the store and slightly the customer service. Me and another customer needed assistance at the self checkouts and although it was clear that I needed help FIRST; the guy still went to the other man to assist him before me. I waited 5 mins and the other guy waited for maybe a minute. That was irritable.
The Pharmacy was great; everyone back there was pleasant. Although they had a long line and were dealing with some pretty difficult customers, they were trying to get people in and out.”

“This location is tucked away in a small shopping center behind Park Potomac. It's super easy to park at and the staff inside are super friendly. I don't shop for groceries at Walgreens but will stop by to grab discounted paper towels or laundry detergent. Items are always in stock and the lines move very quickly. The photo department is also really nice. I print a few 8x10s here a month since I don't have a printer that does photos that large. The photos are always ready to go and they have a neat notification system that allows you to have other people pick up your order. For a convenience/grocery story it's pretty no frills which is what I look for. If you have a sweet tooth make sure to go the day after Halloween and you can buy candy by the pound.”

“It was 11:30 at night, I was tired and I already came disappointed from another CVS in North Potomac where they didn’t have what I needed and to be honest they didn’t help me much…The second I step into this other CVS store, Jamaal greeted me with a smile and ask me if I needed help to find something. He went out of his way and dedicated time and effort to find the medicine that I needed. Let me tell you this medicine wasn’t available or easy to find in another stores, but he did his best to find it. I can’t be more grateful for him and his excellent service.
