The George Brooks House Bed & Breakfast is a charming and welcoming inn located just outside the town of St. Michael’s, making it a convenient base for exploring the area. The inn offers spacious, clean rooms with comfortable beds, and some rooms feature large screens, Blu-ray players, and 24/7 access to coffee, bottled water, and canned soda on the patio. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, especially the owner, who provides excellent service and delicious, outstandings breakfasts tailored to early departures. The outdoor grounds are beautiful, with gardens, a pool, and a hot tub, creating a pleasant spot for gatherings and relaxation. The inn’s outdoor amenities, including the pool, are well-maintained, though some reviews mention clutter and minor maintenance issues in parts of the house, such as the bathroom and common areas, which could benefit from deeper cleaning and repairs. The house’s decor is charming and thoughtfully chosen, contributing to a cozy atmosphere. Parking is plentiful, with options for EV charging stations. While the location is slightly off the main town area, free parking nearby makes driving easy. Guests enjoy walking around St. Michael’s to explore shops, museums, and local eateries, with highlights including the Patriot cruise and maritime museum.
