“You get what you pay for. Unfortunately I didn’t verify the room my husband booked on the Thursday night prior to a wedding weekend at the Oaks (where thankfully we were staying for the majority of our trip), and I should have. At first glance, the place seems quaint, but at check in I noticed the invoice was $68 and that it was. The room (though it read clean) was filthy, from shmutz on the bathroom floor, to a thick layer of dust on the noisy refrigerator. Not to mention the water - it reaked of sulfur / rotten eggs. And though I refused to even brush my teeth using anything but bottled water, my husband took a shower which made the room absolutely stink. Basically as lovely as the people are, don’t stay here.”
“Good laid-back place to stay when visiting St. Michaels. Great pool area and good service. Breakfast was really good and appreciated the fresh fruit! Great for a quick couple getaway!”
