“We had our wedding and reception at the museum in April 2023 - it was the perfect location for our 100-guest event. We had the ceremony and dinner in the courtyard, with a tent (because of uncertain weather) and a very small dance floor. There was plenty of space for more tables if you have a larger event. We used the exhibit hall for the bar, the octagonal room for dancing, and the narrow gallery for the buffet. We used the library to get dressed and to store our things during the event. The entire space, both indoor and outdoor, was lovely and perfect for the event. Dan and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and super helpful. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Charming Henna (Priya and Avani) did an amazing job with our bridal, groom, and wedding party henna! Both Priya and Avani provided a variety of gorgeous designs. Priya was immediately responsive and came to our house to provide bridal and groom henna a couple of days before the wedding which was super convenient during a busy wedding week. She was very kind to talk to and very detailed with her designs. A couple of days later, Avani came to our welcome party and created beautiful designs for probably 30 wedding guests in a little over 3 hours. She even stayed later than initially planned because everyone wanted her beautiful work! We are so thankful for this team who made our wedding day special!”

“The ballroom is nice and spacious. Easily fits 100 guests without the place feeling congested/cramped and with more than enough space for a dance floor. Beautiful venue.Ballroom also has clean restroom facilities and a water fountain on the far side of the building. In that same hall is the kitchen for the caterer to set up and on the other side of the hall is a place where the bridal party can get set up. You turn a corner and there’s a separate room where our wedding event set up our bartender and catering table. The wedding itself which I attended was held in the pavilion - which I should mention is a little distance away from this ballroom so if you had a wedding/reception in these two different places, you’d need your car (both situated in the same area but the way leading to each has a hill and a block and a half distance away). Save your feet a little trek and do that minute drive. There is ample parking as well. Need not worry in that regard”

“This place is awesome. Read the directions carefully for how to find it. It's an easy drive but finding the entrance is not easy right now, due to construction. I came for the Friday night West Coast Swing lessons and it was so much fun. It was a huge group of people, but it's a huge space. The instructors were fantastic. They have a good system too--beginner lesson at 7:30. Intermediate lesson at 8:15. What's nice is that at that time, beginners move into a different space for a practice session with the instructors. At 9 pm the social dancing starts. There are tables in the back and food/drink. The people who come here are really friendly. I will definitely be back, even though it's a 40 minute drive for me.”

“My church used the Rolling Ridge facilities for a morning event in the Fall of 2022. The entire experience was extraordinary! The only way to describe this venue is "immaculate!" The lawns were freshly mowed. The buildings pristine. And the food? Utterly delicious! While I only have boys, I hope they will be able to convince their future spouse to be wed here. Beautiful place run by wonderful people.”

“The place is incredible on the outside, we did not enter the place. We were taking some photos and suddenly a very angry lady came out, we didn't know why? , she opened the door, shouted something and entered again, knocking down the door... We did a photo shoot there, we're sorry if it's not allowed.”

“The October born members in the chapter of my sorority picked a sisterhood activity at Hammer and Stain. The icing on the cake was that this is a Black Women Owned business. The customer service was superb. Prior to our arrival, they curated designs that we could pick from that catered to our sorority or we could pick from the designs they already had in the shop. We also were able to bring our own food. If you are looking for a place to host a birthday party or any group activity, this is a perfect option.”

“SuHad an amazing time at Lucky Strike Bethesda! From the moment we walked in, the fun and vibrant atmosphere welcomed us. It's not just about bowling; it's the experience that sets it apart. The lanes were clean, well-maintained, and perfect for both beginners and seasoned players. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always with a smile. Their positive attitude contributed greatly to the overall atmosphere, making our visit even more enjoyable. “We did not have options for a work trip to this property. The standard guest rooms are tiny, beds are pretty hard to sleep on. Clean though, tv and coffee maker, iron, closet. They do have larger rooms. Several blogs, bar/restaurant within. Beautiful grounds to walk on and to and from several bldgs. 30 mins from Reagan National without traffic delays. Dulles are pretty much the same, BWI is further away. No stores or places you can walk to from the hotel. I'm sure we will be back for further work trips at this hotel. Check it out for work events or leisure.”

“Attended great performance by dueling piano duet at this location. Got premium tickets, and we were seated at the table right next to the scene. Ordered drinks and food and enjoyed the music. Helpful staff and good environment. Food was reasonably priced for location. Parking is either at the building (limited), across the building, or around the corner on old Georgetown rd. Overall, it was a good experience.”

“This is a fantastic place to go to eat and have fun with your friends; that stuff is really friendly. “The rooms were excellent, but I found the location to be just a bit too fair from downtown Bethesda to make it reasonable to commute back and forth every day. It was about a 15 to 20 minute Uber drive everyday to downtown Bethesda. Also, I didn't have good luck with the service at the restaurant. I sat there for about 20 minutes and still had not ordered. I bought some food from the corner store and went to bed. All and all this is a great place to stay if you have a car.Rooms: Great rooms. I stayed on the 8th floor.”

“Thank you for your kindness and service. A few things I wanted to point out. Our server and the trainee, were spectacular! The cook with the tattoos who helped my daughter who unfortunately slipped and fell was so kind and helpful. (I wish I got his name, but he was great) Thank you!! Between setting the cake aside and making a last minute accommodation for my father to join. From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!! We will always come back to you guys!! My sister had a great birthday experience!”
