“Switched to this pharmacy a few months ago from the big chain down the street. In that time I've filled several prescriptions for both myself and my kids. The difference in customer service between the previous pharmacy and Demmy's is truly astounding. Staff at Demmy's are so friendly, nice, and quick with filling prescriptions. Very informative as well. I am so happy with the switch and can't recommend Demmy's highly enough.”

“I stopped here after work my mama been calling asking about sweet potatoes! I ran in here and they have a pretty big array' of different flowers ! All beautiful and colorful . The Manager Dan was his name was so helpful I just asked can he show me which flowers were the ones that described the sign and he went above and beyond to even pick me a nice !! Bouquet!!...I was so grateful because I'm not a flower person and my mama is! I thanked him and went on my way!. I like this Wei's it's clean , they have everything in stock that I need and there's always someone there to help! Unlike other places we're everyone is mostly standing around together like they're in high school huddled needing to tell each other a secret real quick and you need help finding something. Other ones have an attitude like you're bothering them but I never see that in this Weis which I appreciate! . The parking lot is congested as hell but I love this Weis and it's people so thank you to whomever for the great widely stocked wines (I made spaghetti) sooo goood and great customer service and always having things in stock !”

“The best pharmacy in the greater Laurel area with compounding services onsite by very knowledgeable pharmacists that own and care about service and customers. There is a lot of competition in the pharmacy business with many big chains, but none come close to the service given by the owner and his staff. Other pharmacies often wait until the fill date to make sure the medication is in stock, but Main Street Rx ensure they have it. Other pharmacies rotate staff so often you see a new face every visit and seem to use the pharmacy to get other retail business. Main Street Pharmacy has medication, both by prescription and over the counter and little else. They focus on their core business and do it well. They are well worth the trip if you want knowledgeable friendly staff that go out of their way to provide excellent service with no waiting around or phone tag.”

Was feeling peckish, so I looked around briefly in the Bakery department to see if there were any prepackaged items I could bring home for my son and me, most of the baked goods are rather pricey. All I could find that was reasonable were donuts. I got some chocolate iced peanut butter filled donuts (all they had left), which were very tasty.”

“I never thought I'd be writing a review for a pharmacy, but this one is really good! The first time I used them, my doctor called in a prescription. Before I had even left the doctor's parking lot, Avalon called me to talk about the prescription and to tell me they were starting to fill it already. (Super fast!). I was able to pick it up on my way home. On another visit, I was able to get medication filled while I waited. They are also stocked with other medical-related supplies as well. “Lately, I caught myself thinking that I would prefer to go to Harris Teeter Bowie because the people up front at the registers seem to have gotten their act together and I know that I will get rung up fast and they won't keep me waiting at self-checkout for long like Giant across the street does, Giant is abysmal at checkout, Giant wastes a lot of customer time waiting for associates to stop socially talking to each other to help customers waiting-and-waiting, Giant does that incessantly, I wont step foot in Giant's doors, I am loyal Harris Teeter customer. Harris Teeter has great sales (not so great regular prices), club card ecoupons, gas discounts. I don't know what to think of the pharmacy, all I got was a test there a long while back and it was easily discernable that the pharmacist was clearly not happy about it so I just never used their pharmacy after that; he was super busy, by himself, stressed out. Anytime you find yourself thinking that you can go to a certain store and you can count in them getting you out the door in timely manner, and like they care that they are helping you, that's a place to be loyal to, that's the current staff at Harris Teeter Bowie.”
