“Demmy's is a very good pharmacy with very friendly and knowledgeable individuals. The only issue ai hae is with their email process and how the app is designed and works. I find it not easy to use and understand. I find that many things I want appear to only be to be done by asking the pharmacy individuals to do it. If a user can do the things, that ia not obvious. I would prefer using a much more user friendly app which is easily understandable -- that is not what I have found in using the app for a little more than two months evn though I have extensive knowledge of computers.”

He then linked me up with BECKY she’s amazing!!! Her energy is unmatchable , if your having a rough day she fix you! She helped find everything I need!

“The place is clean, well organized, convenient for the surrounding neighborhoods. You tend to get a feel for the niche each different grocery chain sports. H.T. is no different. They have their brands of stuff others don't, at least not that I've noticed. I like their lime Popsicles. I can't tell if they are more expensive than other chains or the same, but the $130 is spent didn't seen to go very far even after signing up for their VIC card. an acronym of which I don't the words... there was a lot of buy 1 get 1 free items of which i did my best to take advantage, but not withstanding, the over all cost felt steep. A nice place to shop, but Sam's pricing has them beat...”

“This Giant store is what you call “top dawg”. The products here are plentiful and they always have what I need. They have a deli and a seafood area where you can buy a lot of fresh stuff. The pharmacy here is really good. But the prices are absolutely horrendous. Giant is so expensive and they claim to have low prices. Also the receipts are sooo long! I get one thing and the receipt is 8 inches!! (I measured it).”

“I've used this local pharmacy for several years now and can't say enough good things about their care and service. Once when hubby came home from hospital they pickedup a incorrect dosage of new medicine and had it all straightened out before I got there. When I was dealing with elderly aunt at home they delivered her medicine and changed it liquid to make it easier without me asking. Image my surprise going to the door allowing me to stay with her and not run up the street. The family gets our flu shots their to save on Dr visits. What a great experience of a hometown pharmacy they bring to our community.”
“I went to store #342 on 12/13/25. Michelle the cashier at the Giant was so nice and very professional! Michelle took the time to help me with my giant app that all of a sudden was acting like it wasn't trying to function well, Michelle took her time helping me and it ran into the time that she was supposed to be getting off of work. Michelle Still was willing to help me it was very frustrating for me and got very overwhelming Michelle helped me through the overwhelming and getting my giant app working as should have! Michelle was a blessing at that time of help! I could have left the store feeling pissed off overwhelmed and some more, but I did not thanks to Michelle! I left the store feeling great ? Thank You Michelle ? I really hope that Michelle will get the recognition for going way and beyond best customer service cashier from Giant Food Corporation! On February the 4th 2026 I went to the store 3:42 4119 Branch avenue Marlow heights Maryland 20748. The cashier Matthew was very professional and such the perfect gentleman! I really appreciate it how Matthew greeted me and welcome me to shopping at Giant! That makes you want to shop more at Giant the one where Matthew works! “The people who work here are top notch extremely friendly and polite. If they don't have what you were prescribed in stock, it will be on the next business day. They have a nice app helps you keep track of your prescriptions and when to refill or you can auto refill. You can also pay in the app.”
“The regular lines were several people long, but the self-checkout had no wait. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. In general, I like this store. They keep it organized, clean, and stocked. When there has been a problem, the employees have been nice and helpful.

“I've been shopping here since it was a Super Giant. There's probably few people remaining around here that know or even remember what that was. It's always been a good store. Since it was downsized many years ago from the Super Giant to a regular Giant it's a bit on the small size by today's standards, with not as big a selection as other stores, but it also makes it much easier to navigate and get in and out of. The store is clean, well stocked, and the people working there have always been super nice and helpful.”

Unfortunately, they closed down in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Giant has since taken over the facility.

“I've had a great experience here. they always fill my prescriptions in a timely manner and I've never had any mistakes. I also like that they text when your prescription is ready, which is not always option at a small local pharmacy. The staff are polite and best off all I've literally never had to wait for even one person ahead of me when I pick up my prescription. they have a decent selection of drugstore products too--most items they have one name brand option and one budget option. in contrast to this place, the walgreens down the street frequently failed to fill my prescription in time, never picked up the phone, and usually had a line at the pharmacy counter. very glad I switched to this pharmacy!”

I love that the owner takes the time to remember your name and ask how your family is doing. We've been getting our prescriptions filled here for years, and in that time, he’s watched my kids grow up. They always get our prescriptions right and treat us like family.
