“I was met near the front door by a nice young man. I told him about my old la z boy chair breaking and that I wanted to see what was available and to see if my current chair was fixable and how to do this. He asked me lots of questions and we proceeded to 3 chairs. He showed me the model I currently own as well as 2 others. I didn't like the 1st one too much, but did like the 2nd. The model I currently own was about 500 dollars more, and had basically the same features as my broken chair. I picked a chair that was in stock so I am looking forward to delivery next week. Your salesman was excellent. He knew his product and was easy to work with. I am an older person with some mobility issues. I use the riding carts at most stores. When people offer to help me get things I cannot reach, I often tell them that I am an official awarder of GOLD STARS. Yor salesman earned a GOLD STAR from me for all his help. He is definately an asset to your company.”

“Incredible experience with this store - specifically Millie, but all staff were great. We were looking for a very specific nursery chair, but we were unable to find it. I called around a lot of places, before learning that this store would be able to purchase it for us. My husband and I stopped by yesterday to look at the fabric samples. We were very overwhelmed by the large number of options available to us. We were in the store for over an hour, and Millie was so kind and patient. She helped us narrow down the fabric selections based on what would look really good in our baby room. We found one sample that we really liked, but it turns out it was just discontinued a few days ago. Despite this mentally went above and beyond to try to help us find similar patterns. We were able to find three that we narrowed it down to. She then let us take the fabric samples home so we could think about it overnight. I’m so glad she did because it really helped us make a decision. She then took our order over the phone and it couldn’t have been easier. I had no idea that this store was in Columbia. It’s super convenient and I can’t wait to shop there again and again. Thank you to Millie and the team for being so patient and kind with us, especially since we were so indecisive.”

“A man named Ron helped me much on 2/23/2026! He helped me find a rug that my wife wanted me to purchase. The inventory is great. The quality of the rug is high. An evident manager was alert to my need at the beginning, and he had Ron assist me. The cashier was excellent as well! Our living room is improved, thanks to Home Sense in Columbia, Maryland. The store's setting and cleanliness are important to us as customers, and the staff delivered all!”

We came to this store on Saturday 3/14/26 mid afternoon, and everything was excellent. The store is very well organized and well kept. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in, which made a great first impression.

Every aisle was clean and easy to navigate, making shopping really enjoyable. The cashier who checked me out was friendly and nice, which added to the overall positive experience.

Definitely a great store, I’ll be back!”

“TL;DR: a couch from Su Casa is an investment in an awesome local small business, American manufacturing, and the couch itself - that won't require replacement every 10 years like some intentional garbage from Ikea, joybird, lovesac, etc.

After dealing with a degrading Ikea couch for 8 years, I finally sought out a replacement. Lots of people recommended online stores, like joybird or lovesac, but so many reviews suggest they're little better quality than Ikea with a polished PR facade, and sample swatches confirmed that. I went to a few secondhand places, like second chance, but couldn't find anything in the right size. After finding some good options in their online store, I went in to Su Casa, and holy smokes it was the best decision!

Their materials were clearly higher quality/more durable than the online swatches I received, and their customer service was excellent - knowledgeable and available to sufficiently answer all of my questions. They helped me with each customization decision and even added throws to my order over the phone a few days after I placed the couch order in store and realized I should get the pillows. They kept me updated about the couch construction and even asked, after it was completed, that the packaging/shipment portion be expedited (after I called to check on progress since I had a guest coming into town who I wanted to give a not-falling-apart couch as a sleeping option). Then 2 friendly delivery guys miraculously managed to get each piece of the couch up my front steps and in through my front doors without even touching the couch or wall. The couch is fabulous and perfect and still feels and looks brand new after 3 months (with 3 rambunctious kids). It cleans up easy and seems impossible to damage with scratches.
On top of ALL of this perfection, I'm so glad to support American builders and this excellent local business. Yeah, those online companies may cost $500-1k less than a similar couch at Su Casa, but you get what you pay for - a decline in quality and service, and no American manufacturing. This couch may have cost 2-3x as much as a current, comparable IKEA couch, but I'm sure in 10 years it WON'T be anywhere near falling apart. I'm betting it'll still look great!

“This is a Black woman-owned boutique and truly one of the highlights of my weekend in Baltimore. Pandora’s Box is such a beautiful space. The shop is bright, colorful, and full of personality. Every corner has something eye-catching, from jewelry and tote bags to greeting cards, candles, décor, socks, magnets, and so many fun and creative finds. It’s the kind of store where you walk in and instantly feel inspired.

I also had the chance to meet the owner, Mo, and she was incredible. Warm, welcoming, and full of good energy. Talking with her, you can hear the passion, creativity, and hard work she pours into her business. Many of the items are designed by her, which makes the boutique feel even more special and unique.

I ended up picking up a tote bag, a magnet, and some stickers, and could have easily left with even more. The entire experience felt intentional, personal, and memorable. Pandora’s Box is the type of small business you want to support again and again.

Whether you’re a local or visiting Baltimore, this boutique is absolutely worth the stop. I’ll definitely be returning the next time I’m in the city.”

“Beautiful Furniture! From the owner, to the in house designer, to the delivery people, we have had a great experience furnishing our home with Su Casa’s unique pieces.We had hired someone who claimed to be a designer (our big mistake) who at least had the good taste to lead us to this store. She took no measurements but insisted we buy several oversized pieces. When I called the owner and explained that some items didn’t seem to fit, he sent out Leslie, Su Casa’s designer to solve the problem. Leslie put together a professional portfolio complete with choices of different side tables, rugs etc. to pull the whole look together. She stayed on top of the project and her response to questions was immediate. The delivery people are friendly and professional. Buying furniture from Su Casa was an enjoyable experience.”

“Whimsical and delightful and worth a visit. Some call it a magical place or a fairy store. I always encourage people to check it out. I buy myself something here every year for my birthday. I’ve been coming for about 20 years. They have things you would have a hard time finding elsewhere and some items are one of a kind. However, the owners can be grumpy or nice depending on their mood I guess. The store has changed very little over two decades with some items sitting in the exact same spot they always have been and it’s not as fun to keep going back because the stock doesn’t rotate much. But if you are looking for a fantasy or fairytale gift, or have a friend who likes mermaids, or somebody who would enjoy a unicorn shirt, this is a place you have to visit.”

“My Fiancé and I were lucky enough to find this shop while we were walking around the neighborhood. We stopped in to buy house warming gifts for our friends. We got two tea cups and the Turkish Beach/Camping Blanket which is perfect for the beach because all the sand truly shakes off!

We loved the selection of the store and got to chat with Carla. Since meeting her, we decided to do our wedding registry with her shop and couldn’t be happier. If you get the chance to visit the shop, or are in the market for linens that will last, you’ve got to visit.”

“This wonderful antique store is located in historic Savage, MD in a mill that was converted into a shopping and dining complex. While perusing my new neighborhood, I stumbled upon Foxrun Antiques. I purchased two pieces from the owner, Paul Olson, who has a wonderful collection of beautiful antiques at extremely reasonable prices. He was extremely helpful in assisting me with the pieces. I searched high and low online for a dresser to suit our needs but could not find something to match our Ethan Allen iron bed frame. But at Foxrun I discovered a gorgeous mahogany dresser that could have been new it looked and felt so substantial and polished. While in search of the dresser I also stumbled upon a pedestaled bookshelf with a drawer and had to have it. The cost of delivery was nominal and delivery was convenient and handled with care. This store is a gem in the region. Having lived in Washington DC for over 20 years, I am accustomed to paying outrageous sums of money for sub-par quality from shops like West Elm or even Pottery Barn, but there is nothing that beats solid wood pieces built by true craftsmen. If you're looking to outfit an apartment or home, I highly recommend Foxrun Antiques.”
