After spending almost s thousand dollars here, we came back later that day because the bolts we purchased weren't long enough. The same cashier who rung us up during the first visit was monitoring the self checkout line. She even recognized us and said "what did you forget?". But she then proceeded to watch us scan everything (we had bolts and nuts) and asked how much we had of each item even though I counted them out to enter the item amount into the register. She wasn't watching anyone else checkout only us. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars at Lowes over the years. But that experience, after having just spent almost a thousand dollars there that day? Well we went to Home Depot for the rest of our project needs. Lowes has lost my business. Merry Christmas.

They changed their return policy. I previously spent a lot of money here but will not anymore. They do not even issue store credit with a receipt if over 90 days. I get that but having not known and returning just after you think the would have given me credit considering I was going to literally spend more than what I returned. Not anymore.

Short version: The salespeople on the floor are helpful and friendly. The store is clean. However, the management has no time for customers. They are not interested in giving good customer service. They will give wrong answers and not take responsibility for issues they caused.UPDATE: I called today and spoke to the manager on duty. Much different experience. She was helpful and committed to resolving my problems. Thank you, Brianna, for your help.

We were helped by THREE different people within just a few minutes (for different items throughout the store). Everyone was so pleasant and knowledgeable, which made for a great experience. Certainly a nice change in pace from other stores we've been to. We'll definitely choose this location again.

Purchased small chest freezer thursday the 8th. Brought it home and thought it was getting cold and it wasn't. Tried to see if maybe I had ot on the wrong setting cause the instructions don't tell you which side of the dial or coldest and waited. Still nothing. Took it back to this location Saturday the 11th and they will not exchange the item. They tell me there return policy is 48hours. How is this a return? You sold me a product that was defective and I want to exchange for one that works! None of there posted policies say ANYTHING about defective merchandise and 48 hours. Be careful. Customer service had gone WAY DOWN HILL. I could have bought a new house with the amount of merchandise I've bought from there. NO MORE!

This lowes will not take anything back without a receipt even though it is their policy to do so with a valid id. What doesn’t make sense is they even have a sign with the return policy on it right behind them at customer service and guess what it says, returns without receipt require an id. The associate said the manager isn’t allowing them to do returns without a receipt. It’s not like I have returned numerous items without a receipt this is my first return. So after validating it with corporate lowes over the phone. They confirmed that it is their policy to return items with a valid id. Guess I will have to try a different lowes.

Used to shop here frequently, but the new return policy changed that. Lowes won't accept returns after 3 months even if they sell you faulty equipment. Shop elsewhere.

Just don't purchase installation services from Lowes. We purchased a ceiling fan and installation from this store. The installation was then passed off to Angi. The installation through Angi kept being scheduled without confirming a day/time with us, and for 7-10PM. When an installation was set up through Angi, the installer from Angi texted me that the installation time didn't work for them, and then scheduled a new time with me. They then no-showed that appointment after I had taken the day off of work to be available. A new installation was set up, and the installer couldn't install the fan because the product was broken, and did not work.We decided after such a terrible experience to return the fan and proceed with a refund for the installation. While we inadvertently returned the fan to Glen Burnie instead of 415 George Clauss Blvd (we're new to the area), but we did visit the 415 store for how to proceed with a refund.The 415 employee we spoke with at customer service had poor customer service skills, and after asking multiple times (and being told we couldn't speak with a manager, and the manager would say the same thing) we spoke with a manager (assistant manager?), who told us we had to call Lowe's Installation Customer Service for a refund.The store representatives insisted our refund could only happen through Lowes Installation Customer Service. Lowes Installation Customer Service insists a refund can only happen through the store. The installation team couldn't reach a store manager at this location on the phone, and the employee at the Indianapolis installation customer service office told me a refund for us shouldn't be this hard, and that the issues with responsiveness from this store are unnecessary.All of this to say that Lowes seems to pass the buck on customer service when installation is outsourced or if there is an issue with the product or service. Our installation was never completed, and we've called multiple times to try to get this resolved. I keep getting phone calls thanking me for the purchase and notifying me that installation has been completed, and that we have a one year warranty on our installation, even though nothing has been installed and the defective product has been returned.If anything goes wrong with your installation and product, prepare for hours of your time to be dedicated to dealing with ineffective and mismanaged customer service.My husband went back to this store again today, and was able to finally get a refund processed and he was able to speak with an Operations manager who was much kinder. We're grateful for that, but this entire experience was completely unnecessary.

$116 Trailer at Lowe's! No, they did not sell it for $116, and I know that the sing was incorrect. But when I inquired more info at the Customs Service Desk. I was told that all of the trailers were spoken for and that they did not have any available, sorry. They never told me the price or asked if I wanted to order one.This is not the first time or the first Lowes where I have found miss-marked items and/or poor customer service.

My family and I have been customers for years and Scott, Kevin, Alexus and Helen always go above and beyond for us and are professional, respectful, helpful and knowledgeable. They are always efficient and make us feel welcomed into the store. Customer service is incredible and we continue to come back because of them. They are so hardworking and help us with anything we need. Highly recommend this location. The customer service is phenomenal and they have great products.

I recently bought a house and Scott and Alexus were helpful and efficient in helping me find everything I needed. There was a rude customer inside the store and I saw them handle the situation professionally and respectfully. The customer ended up leaving the store happy. They have a great selection of products and lots of parking. Fantastic store!

I like Lowes or as my kids say, "the nicer looking Home Depot".The amount I spend at these places every year is crazy, I don't know how I could live without a Lowes or Home Depot nearby. They got something for every project under the sun.

We had the best experience today with Bill Joles not sure I spelt his last name correctly. He was by the tools. He was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I will go out of my way to go to this lowes because of him.

I always enjoy going to this Lowes. They have excellent customer service and a wide selection of items that are actually on stock. I especially love their garden center. Gary and his team were especially helpful and made my shopping experience quite pleasant. I will begin going quite regularly and highly recommend to others to visit.

I am beyond disappointed with Lowes and the horrendous unprofessionalism. I had multiple issues surrounding the installation of a front door and storm door. The individual who came out to complete the estate from the Lowes store in Severn (Michael B), MD did a horrible job. Wrong measurements, difficulty getting in contact with, and even ordered the wrong materials. The actual installation (in Nov 2022) was the worst installation I have ever seen. There were huge holes in my floors, damage to the door, the storm door was installed incorrectly, and several other issues. I immediately sent in photos and requested help, it took my months of going around in circles without any help. At one point a "customer service" representative told me "well at least you have a door" ignoring the fact that the lock was not working on my front door. I filed a BBB complaint and then finally someone reached out to help. Her name is Jennifer C.However, it took months for someone to finally come out and fix the issue. Even still, there are issues with the door. Jennifer told me on several occasions that I would receive a full refund for the issues with the door, multiple days I had to take off work (and the workers were a no-show) and the damage done to my hardwood floors. When it came time for the refund they offered me a mere $200. I filed another BBB complaint and was very disheartened wit their lack of support (particular from Sandra of the North Carolina office). Without giving me time to talk to BBB about my options, Jennifer closed the case and would not return my calls.Lowes took advantage of me as military veteran, telling me that they would offer a discount for the services and that they valued veteran/military members as customers.Lowes should be ashamed of how they handle business and how they prey on their customers. The lack of accountability is atrocious, I will never shop at a Lowes again and I would highly encourage others to not as well.
