When I say he put up a fight for me because I didn't have the best credit in the world. He was not going to let "not approve" be an answer. After he gave me the best news that I was approve for my SUV M50i. He made sure all my concerns and questions were answered. He went above and beyond to make sure my car was taking care of before I pull off. He was well invested into this as much as I was. I am just grateful Ron made that day happen for me because it wasn't an easy fight, but he wasn't willing to give up. “I have been to several Porsche dealerships/service centers over the years, but Porsche Silver Springs by far stands out like night and day compared to the rest of them. The standard of customer service and professionalism is on another level. The attention to detail, attentiveness, and desire to ensure the customer stays informed they provide is unlike any experience I have had at any dealership period. The staff is highly knowledgeable, relaxed, methodical and process oriented to ensure that nothing is overlooked, and everything is extremely well documented and presented in an organized way. For example, I have a Macan that was experiencing some drive-train issues that no other Porsche dealership could figure out and spent months frustrated and irritated that dealerships kept giving up on trying to find a solution. I had the transfer case replaced and even the entire PDK replaced at the recommendation of another dealership (under warranty thankfully), but those turned out to be misdiagnosis' and although I am happy to have almost a brand new car for free, I was about ready to give up on the thing. I figured though that I would give it one last try and brought it to Porsche Silver Springs and worked with Kofi and Christian. They pinpointed the issue as a faulty cam position sensor (probably a $150 part) causing the engine to misfire within 1 day and had my Macan running like new. They took videos throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure that the issue was resolved and that all the issue replication conditions were extensively tested following repair. This is the level of service you expect when you own a Porsche and I'm not taking my cars to anyone else but to them in the future. I greatly appreciate this dealership for their commitment to customer service and fulfilling on the Porsche standard and I hope others see this review and give them a shot if they need service or repairs because they are incredible people to work with.”

“Very knowledgeable and thoughtful about recommendations for appropriate and least cost for repair. Miguel volunteered a series of progressive options to fix A without B and C, versus A with B and C, versus A and C only, etc. that is, the customer develops a well-formed perspective on the nature of the work, especially with regard to the basic common elements of the repair, so that saving are possible through “à la carte” selection. We wanted the hood repainted, but without blending to the other adjacent panels, and a second unrelated cosmetic repair to the rear quarter panel area. Also, we had a strict budget, so the à la carte options allowed us to assess whether our goal was attainable at the required price. In my experience, this sort of estimate is difficult to obtain, because most auto body repair shops seek a restoration to “good as new, with respect to age of vehicle” that requires extensive blending of paint far from the region of actual damage; also, some customers may flinch at the notion of disclosing the budget, but we did not feel any sense that the shop was using that information to our disadvantage. To be clear, there is no doubt that Miguel and partners have a strong sense of personal excellence to do the very best job, and the à la carte option that I describe does restrict their ability to accomplish “insurance-grade” repairs. However, for voluntary repairs (as is our case) we simply wanted some items fixed that were NOT the result of an insurance-reported collision (for example, the hood is starting to lose paint for this older vehicle, and we want to forestall future rust damage). We want the paint to “match”, but we are not concerned with blending to the other panels. We have no intention of selling this vehicle, so we are not interested in preserving or maintaining the blue book value. Ours is an uncommon perspective, and a repair shop generally avoids this sort of request because (I suspect) there is a high risk that the customer’s expectations will not match the outcome (that is, a naïve customers’s response at pickup could be, “well, I know I requested no blending to the other panels, but I thought it would look better than *this*…”, which would lead to a dissatisfied customer and, subsequently, an erroneous erosion of the shop’s reputation, were the dissatisfaction to materialize as a bad google review or even simply neighborhood chatter…ANYHOW…we made it clear to the shop that we knew the awkward position, but also demonstrated that we had à realistic expectation. Miguel wrote out a very detailed description of the work plan, for us to approve (this protects the shop *and* the customer, dig it?). Miguel was courteous, informative, and thoughtful, AND he brought up some obvious questions we had failed to ask. We left the shop with a very thorough understanding of the work plan, within budget.”

“I went to four different body shops to have body repair estimates after an accident. All other three body shops' estimates indicating that the quarter panel of my vehicle had to be replaced by cutting the damaged quarter panel from vehicle and welding a new one, which not only will compromise the safety of my vehicle, but also will skyrocket the repair costs (from $3600-$7500). Mr. Eric Yuan (the owner) told me that he can repair the damaged area without cutting & welding at very reasonable price (less than $2000). I was really impressed by his terrific repair works done after picking up my vehicle yesterday. I will highly recommend this shop to anyone who has body repair needs.”

“Franklin painted my beautiful cabernet red 1985 Mercedes 1985 300SD turbodiesel sedan. Now it looks like it came directly from the showroom floor. The vehicle recently finished first in class at the annual Mercedes Benz Club of America Concours d'Elegance held in Potomac, Maryland. They also did some very challenging rust repair on a 1983 300TD Mercedes station wagon - replaced one of the rear quarter panels below the fuel door. You could not tell they had done the work - perfect metal finishing and paint blending. I highly recommend Franklin's for their old world craftsmanship and solid integrity.Service: Painting”
