I'm am really disappointed with this Banfield. I brought my dog in at 7 this morning for dental cleaning and here it is 2:00 in the afternoon, and noone has called, the one in Laurel was great. Unfortunately I moved to Beltsville or I would have never taken him to this one. The doctor there should have given an update. I'm am so upset. Please ,if you don't have to bring your pet here dont

Went 09/25/2023 10:30 AM. I was having a concern for a recently adopted pet regarding weight and medicine administration. The only staff that was there on that date mentioned and that time, was extremely unhelpful to say the least. I understand everyone has their days but this girl just was rude from the start and unhelpful. I asked her a simple question about my cats weight and concerns. Her responses were so sarcastic, I was willing to be educated about my cats needs and have this addressed but instead she scolded me (for no reason) and gave me no type of helpful insight at all (JUST GIVING SACARSTIC ANSWERS). I would never have a staff like that with that attitude to help with animal needs and even less be in the front. In conclusion she was the rudest, most unhelpful, most unprofessional person I’ve had to deal with and I’ve worked in retail services and healthcare settings. Just don't have people like her to be the front of your company, I would never go again and would recommend against it.

I was inside Petsmart this afternoon. I stood near a Banfield door (#1) .Suddenly the door opened. Out came an unescorted giant Pit Bull. It used his head to jar me , hitting my upper thigh that was at his eye level. Other nearby people stood without any action)Finally someone inside Banfield wearing black scrubs came to get him back into the room (where he must have been unescorted) She smiled at me but said nothing.After the manager at Petsmart said “We don’t have nothing to do with Banfield so you need to talk to them about this matter. No one was available according to the teen working the banfield register. I asked what she would do if i had been bitten by that dog.She answered “Call 911” This is a true recap of what happened.I wont be back . Banfield is only as good as the people at each location. Visit at your own risk. Don’t expect to be able to speak to a manager.Bring your cell so you can call animal control for helpDr B Johnson

DEFINITELY BAD EXPERIENCE !!!!! If you love your pet, DO NOT bring it to this place. I do not recommend it for any pets. In the clinic department, they give you different information, and they are kind enough for you to take "medical insurance" Then they charge you for exactly EVERYTHING. They said that it included sterilization and when I brought her to do the procedure they told me that it was more than 200 dollars for many EXTRAS " " , my dog was NOT in her heat, but they looked for a thousand reasons to charge all that money. In the store, the prices on the labels are different. When the cashiers scan the product, the price is higher. If you don't realize they have overcharged you. Also, Dr. Disha Pant is unprofessional. The way she talked to us was DISGUSTING AND RUDE. The ONLY special and amazing doctor in this place is Dr. Grecia Carerro, she's amazing but unfortunately she's working on the wrong company and with the wrong workers.

Sam and Reese were very patient, friendly, helpful, informative and very calming! They made our experience at Banfield one that was pleasurable and we are likely to change our primary Banfield location to this one!

I called this place 2 times last week to make an appointment. I was told that for what I needed, I did not need an appt and to come between 2pm-4pm Monday - Friday. . Once I got there the lady at the front desk stated that they were short staff and that it would be a while before they saw my Pet. About 25 minutes after I arrived the same front desk lady asked for my shot records, which I did not have with me because NO ONE told me to bring them when I called.I looked through my email and for some reason I could not locate the shot record email from Vetco. I managed to get a screen shot from Petsmart grooming place since I had just taken my Pet there 2 hours earlier for grooming services and still they would not accept a screen shot showing my Pets shots (which I also managed to email Banfield), it clearly stated when the rabies shot was to expire however, they kept saying they needed to see how long ago the shot was given to my Pet, despite of me explaining to them it was 9/2022.They wasted my time and put me through a very unnecessary / uncomfortable moment. It is NOT my fault, some of their staff are not doing their job correctly as I was never told to bring my Pet’s shot record. Not to mention the rudeness of the front desk staff.My complaint is that 1. I was never told they would need my Pet shot records2. Petsmart grooming, would have not taken my Pet (2 hours earlier ) if it his shots were not current3. Nasty ? & unprofessional staff working at Banfield- front desk.

This is the first bad review I’ve ever given but I’m still haunted about how I was treated at this Banfield location by one of the vet techs or front office staff after two visits. The only positive thing about this visit was how attentive and kind the front desk employee was, I believe her name was Angelique. The other staff member working along side her was the rudest, unhelpful, unprofessional person I’ve ever had to deal with and I’ve worked in retail services and healthcare settings. I asked her a simple question about my dogs weight and concerns I had about his diet and she immediately scolded me. I felt so judged by her response and I was willing to be educated about my dogs needs and have this addressed but instead she judged me and gave me no type of helpful insight at all. I thought she asked me about any concerns to pass that onto the vet, because she was only a vet tech/front desk employee but after about dropping my dog off for TWO hours I got no call about him being ready for pick up or anything. I had to ask them if my dog was ready because I’m assuming they forgot about him. Just overall unprofessional, I didn’t even get my concerns addressed by the vet because they didn’t even contact me when it was time to pick him up so I couldn’t talk to her at all.

My daughter and I were here yesterday look for a carry-on for her kitten the price for spade and neutered is very expensive!! They need to lower there prices, whats the difference between them and others who do the same thing? Please let me know it's ridiculous ! That's all I have to say about it right now.

I just went here today my dog is walking funny and acting like his stomach hurts the lady doctor was very rude walked off and wouldn't tell us anything else talking about my dog is perfectly healthy and since leaving there an hour ago now he's drooling and telling me that consistent shaking non-stop is normal which is not what my dog does at all and if anything happens to my dog I will sue the f*** out of them and I do intend on getting that doctor fired do not go to this Banfield they are horrible

I have been taking my dogs here for years. I like to know exactly how much it will cost for visits and vaccinations. The annual cost includes any necessary vet visits for illness. You may have to pay for extra medication or x-rays etc. But it's better than many vets who won't tell you what their prices are for any routine care so you can plan. When our older dogs needed to be euthanized, the doctors and staff were wonderful. While they do have a lot of patients and are busy, they can usually get you in for an appointment in a reasonable amount of time when you have a sick dog. They send out reminders for routine appointments so get them scheduled on time for vaccinations which is good to keep dogs up to date. I like the website (although it's a little slow) because I can track my dog's health records, weight and everything that is important. They also have a chat and healthline available so even though they're not an emergency vet, if you have an issue with your pet and you're not sure, you can check before spending a lot of money running to an emergency vet.
