Not only this branch. The M street SE DC branch as well. I have been in this branch (Silver spring) 6 times to get savings account to be unfrozen. An additional form had to be submitted so my brother and I tried the M street SE. We were in the bank for 2.5 hours for his signature. I've made at least 6 calls to the Estats office in Florida. I've received numerous forms. After I complete one form and they tell me I'm okay-- another form arrives. I am sick --- and I'm sick and tired of this. Other Accounts SCHWAB/Wells Fargo/even the US Army were settled in 3 weeks.

You have at least 4 employees "busy" with one teller for a line of 10+ people. 1/3 tellers active, make it make sense.

It's very hard to get anyone on the phone at this branch. I had a phone appointment set for 2pm and at 2:20pm, I have still not received a call from the person scheduled to call me.

One teller for a line so long it's literally outside to the corner by FedEx Office. Ridiculous...

This is the WORST Bank of America. Always only 2 tellers with 30 people in line. The Korean manager's attitude needs adjustment. You stand in line for a minimum of 40 minutes. I'll only visit this location for ATM. DON'T go inside unless you're VERY parient.

Very poor customer service down to poor communication. I queued up at the window for 20 minutes. Several staff passed by and nobody enquired why I was there. When I got to my turn, I was told that they could not help, and it was only for transactions, and I should sit down and wait. Only one person was at the window. Somebody came near the place I was sat, and I asked for help, I had to make the first move. They informed me "I had queued in the wrong place" when I politely stated there is a communication breakdown at this particular branch. They told me they couldn't help, and told me to call the number on the back of my card. Working in customer service myself, I was very disappointed. I'm still considering my next move and may close my BOA accounts altogether.

If I could give a 0 I would. Terrible customer service. No notary on the premises. They also require appointments for notary services even for members. Just awful.

I wish I could give this place less than one star. I've gone twice this week in non rush hour times just for a temporary card because I lost mine a couple of days ago. Each time I went, the employees were so relaxed without a care in the world. Which is a great vibe but not when you're going to work. And not when you yourself are pressed for time and have to leave work early just to get there during Bank of America hours. I waited over 40 minutes each time and left because they were too relaxed to attend to customers. Not to mention, when I called later to talk to a manager no one answered me at 2:30pm because they were attending to other customers. So basically, I can't even talk to a human at this place. It's incredibly frustrating especially when the hostess at the front asked me 30 min in if anyone had attended me as she was clearly chewing away at her lunch. I'm frustrated because I've been a Bank of America customer for 10 years and always get great service. Perhaps it's just that Maryland sucks as a whole. This Maryland location gave Bank of America a bad rep.

I will never go to teller at this location again. There was only 1 teller, 2 people In front of me & it took almost 30 minutes to be called to the window. I was making a payment so i had to wait. There were 7 people behind me & not once did a bank employee apologize for the wait nor did the teller. BANK OF America has to do better. Expect better.
