I went to ACTUALLY buy just sugar, and was overwhelmed (in a good way, like a kid in a candy store) with options!
Prices are absolutely reasonable. I buy organic raw cane in the grocery store all the time, and I know a deal when I come across it!
On my next visit to Glut, I'll remember to bring my basket & containers for my bought supplies.

“Parking on the 3rd floor in the back of the bldg. Elevator down to store in the back of the garage, over the store, and you can validate for 90min on a little machine after you're done checking out. There's a Naked Lunch there, which is missing from the one closest to my house. Yum! Groceries are on the pricey side, and there is a bigger variety of stuff that I typically buy.”

“I used to love this place, but the prices are through the roof. Still, some items are cheaper than buying on Amazon. It still provides dairy products that are NOT offered anywhere else, and is a cut above other health food stores. But too many times the items I go there to get are sold out. We rely on it for dairy. Has lots of pasture raised products. Two bags of groceries can easily run $200.”
“Very good customer service and a good variety of healthy food choices. It’s a little more expensive than I would like, but no different from what I have paid at other Whole Foods, and I think I get what I pay for. Over the last 5 years I’ve gone to this store once or twice per month. But I am now adding a stop at their salad bar at least once per week as my exercise route takes me right past it. So much better than running to McDonald’s and back (guilty). Cold salad bar is excellent with wide variety, olive bar is definitely good, hot foods are hit and miss.”

“At Morton's on 8th you get the kind of care and support that makes you feel like family. They have gone above and beyond, reaching out to doctors, insurance providers, and ordering what was needed to ensure I had the right meds. “This is a pretty good WF Market. The aisles are pretty narrow, and it can get very crowded with folks filing online/delivery orders. It's nice that there is an Amazon return point and cafeteria eating area on the 2nd floor.”

“I shop here often like Trader Joe's. My neighborhood stores. Besides I could get on the bus D80 Friendship Heights and go to Safeway but sometimes that's to much.. The instant gratification in me sometimes is the reason what makes me go to WHOLE FOODS & TRADER JOE'S but then I can't say that because I like some of their food. NAW HONESTLY I FAVOR A LOT OF ITEMS IN THE 2 STORES!!!?”

“I was visiting this location before it was a WF so when I moved a few blocks away I was glad to be close once again. I moved away briefly during COVID with no easy access to a WF. Upon returning to normal, I am disappointed that WF has given up on vegan options in the deli and hot bar. I actually lost 90lbs walking to my P St. store prior to COVID with lots of options. This store has one or two of the same things, often sweet and sour tofu. Ok, but not creative and boring. Come on guys, step it up and get back to neat options.”
“Made a mobile order using app for in-store pickup. It shared the complementary parking lots with Ledo Pizza, Georgetown Bagelry, and a few other shops. The lighting was good and items signs were clear. The staff at the Customer Service was able to locate the bag timely. The grocery items were fresh and correct as expected.”
