Please do not waste your time to come to this location. The supervisor named Phyllis is rude to customer's and employees. I came into ask about a package that has been at this location for days. The cashier that was in the front went to get her so I can speak with her. Instead of coming to the front she stays in the back the entire time yelling at the employee. She never came to the front to speak with me. Also another supervisor by the Name of Dave refused to come to the front and speak with me. The employee also had a line . She told Phyllis that she needed help and none of the two supervisor that were in the back ever came to the front to help her the entire time I was there. Also none of the two supervisor ever came out to help me with my problem.

If I could I would give it a zero. No one is helpful and love saying they're short staff when they have other people. Always on that damn phone and are annoyed when they have to put the phone down to talk.

The One Star was a sympathy vote—because they deserve much less than zero. You must NEVER put in a formal complaint because your mail/packages will be miss delivered or purposely discarded! ZERO accountability! This USPS is the WORST in ALL of Silver Spring.
I've met some miserable people in my life—but the staff at the Four Corners location takes the cake. Rude, dismissive, confrontational, and often on their personal phones. Heard them actually tell people they WOULD NOT help them. I've heard them yell at people as well and throw customers' packages across the room. I've witnessed them lock up and close early. The lone relatively nice individual said she had to transfer b/c of her nasty coworkers. SAD.

Came in on Tuesday for walkin passport hours just as advertised. The staff member said to the customer ahead of us, “There are only two staff members during this time. We’re not doing walk-in passports. I told you to come back on Wednesday. Once the walk-in time starts, I go on my lunch.”
….I could understand if it was a busy day, but during this time, there were only two customers. The person ahead of me getting the message and me/spouse here for walk-in passports. We left to go to another location.

I wish this place would modernize to at least the 21st century.
Waited almost 15 minutes in line for a simple receipt for a package scan.
Suggested to the worker that they get a machine like FedEx where you scan a package, drop it in the box and get a receipt so we don't have to take up staff time.
Was told that they don't have room. Suggested they may be get rid of the greeting cards and install something that more people would use. There's a safe way 25 ft away that carries screening carts.
Be better post office!

Waste of time for passport photos. Made an online appointment only to find out upon arrival that their camera is broken. Go to fedex for better service.

The women there was so unhelpful, rude, angry, and mad for no reason. They have terrible service please do not go here. It is worth driving the extra 10 minutes to the other one. worst post office I have ever been too. They also do not update there hours and days that there are open so driving there is just a 50/50.

Read the reviews and it has *never* been my experience at this location. Other branches, yes. I live less than 10 minutes from the Amherst branch (where I refuse to go after really terrible experiences) and drive the few extra miles to go to the Aspen Hill location.
Does it get busy? Yes.
Might you have to wait in line? Yes.
This is not an employee issue but rather a problem with an understaffing decision made by the post office management.
I’ve always received excellent customer service from the postal employees; they’ve been patient, friendly and helpful…even during high volume times.
So, if you want to complain, at least correctly identify the source of it.
