Customer service at VisionWorks on Fenton Street in Silver Spring, MD is excellent. I recently bought glasses there, using a new prescription from an optometrist at a different company. The new prescription did not work well. So, then I took a different prescription to VisionWorks. Even though they had not caused the problem, VisionWorks stood by their satisfaction guarantee. VisionWorks replaced the lenses for free. The manager, Jackie, was especially kind and efficient. And the new glasses arrived even faster than promised.

I was charged a fitting fee and copay when my insurance clearly covers that. I expect a refund asap and a coaching to your people on the proper way too charge insurance. I would not recommend this place ever. I emailed on 11/8/2023 and still have not heard anything back from your company this is a complete joke for your customer service I will contact my bank fyi

Despite the wait it was a great first time experience and would definitely recommend this location. Great service from all staff members. Lisa, Jackie and Shawn personally took care of me and they made the visit even more easy and were very informative. Thanks Again vision works silver spring

This has to be the worst optometrist (Dr. Yosef) that works in this office. She performed an eye exam on my daughter and when her glasses arrived within a week my daughter was saying that she was seeing double. When I returned to complain to the optometrist she stated that the medicine was too strong and that she would reexamine her. After the reexamination the prescription in the lenses changed. She never apologized for the mistake and would not admit that she had made one. The manager (Arlene) was dismissive and didn’t apologize either. Do your selves a favor and visit another vision works with a good optometrist and a professional manager.

I’m not normally one to leave a review but this location was great. I needed contacts in a pinch created by my own poor planning and they made it happen and got me contacts well ahead of schedule. Would recommend.

While the other staff are kind and helpful. The current on staff Dr Bethel Yoseph is rude no type of patient car skills…. I had an appointment and even arrived early. But I was told to wait 30 mins beyond my appointment time. during that time I looked through glasses and didn’t complain… I was then abruptly called back. I went back and asked for 2 minutes to send a text to my mother from the glasses selection so that by the time I finished the exam I’d have an answer (because I was already behind schedule due to her and wanted to get some of my time back) she yelled at me and told me it was rude to her because she needed to start the exam. I remind her that with my long wait 2 minutes was nothing. She argued that she had another client and it ran longer, so with that come piss poor service for me. I don’t even know if I can trust my eye exam results. she didn’t do anything that my previous drs have done. She didn’t even close the door or discuss known issues with my eyes. Terrible experience.

Friendly staff greeted and helped me through the process. Doctor did a thorough job assessing my aging eyes which now require multi focal lenses. Overall a pleasant experience. Half star off because I had to wait 20 minutes past my Wednesday 11am appointment to be examined. Another half star off because even though the doctor was thorough, I still felt rushed.

I've received service at the Fairlawns (Laurel) location, Westfields (Wheaton Plaza) location, but the service and staff at Silver Spring beats them all. Silver Spring is now my newfound go-to for all my eye care needs going forward.

I was there to order a prescription glasses. I got attention as I entered the office. I was greeted with smile and politely.I was asked what I would like to have and the employee listened to me with attention and guided me to start from choice of a frame and showed me the different types available.She also helped me to choose. Then she proceeded the total price for the frame and the lenses. She told me the total cost in few minutes. As I was to pay out of pocket, I was afraid of the cost. But the price l was offered was very reasonable and affordable and the way I was treated was really Amazing.Visionworks is really a great place with great services and very friendly, polite and knowledgeable staff.Thank you so so very much?????

Great and professional customer service from the manager and her staff. Dr. B Joseph is a very knowledgeable and thorough optometrist. I am so glad I met her, I plan to continue receiving my eye care through her at this location in Silver Spring.

Was given the wrong eye prescription after an exam and have been having trouble contacting anyone since. I think it was a mistake but The Dr I saw gave me a prescription that is very blurry and that I can’t see out of. Can’t reach anyone at this location for help.

Of all the eye exams and glasses buying experiences I have had (and I have had way too many), this was the best experience from start to finish. It did take about an hour for the whole experience of the virtual appointment but it was worth it. I was hesitant at first to do a virtual appointment but I felt that it was actually more thorough. They do a lot of tests in the beginning and then you are seen virtually by a refractionist. After the refractionist, you are seen by the optometrist. I had the best experience with Dr. Zabala because she was thorough and thoughtful, two of the things I appreciate the most from an appointment. She answered so many of my questions and made sure to tailor my prescription to me, which was different from the one the refractionist had originally calculated. I felt like she really understood my needs. Lisa, who helped me with the glasses buying experience, was also incredibly helpful. I really appreciated how professional and personable she was. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and she helped me calculate the best price. This was truly the best experience I had. I can't speak for the in-person optometrist, but I highly recommend Lisa and Dr. Zabala who only does virtual appointments.

I scheduled an appt to come in and review my contact prescription I just got because I cannot see with them. My work schedule is very hectic and it's been a challenge to make it in. When I arrived I checked in and waited to be seen only to be told they don't do that on Saturday. Although that was upsetting, the reason for my 5 stars goes to the exceptional service Andrea provided. She went above and beyond to assist me. I found a pair of lenses I liked and decided to get them. She was very pleasant and helped me find a time that worked for me to come back to check on the contact lenses. It was busy and there were other challenges going on in the store she helped assist all while providing above and beyond service. For this reason and this reason only I give a 5 star rating and will come back to this location. Thank you Andrea.
