Mother-in-law lives here and now there are mice in her apartment for multiple days. She called maintenance and a person came up without even a mouse trap. She called again and no response. Exterminator scheduled to come to the building at the end of the week. Why doesn’t management at least support the panicked resident in the meantime?

My mom has lived in Homecrest House for 5 years now, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It's run extremely well, and the staff are friendly and professional. The place is also safe and the residents' needs are been taken care of, which gives me peace in mind knowing that mom lives there. My daughters and I visit her often and we always have a good time there.

This place is infested with mice and unfortunately they don’t care to fix the problem because the residents are senior citizens. Seniors with no voice or family is overlooked therefore, they are forced to live with rodents. Please don’t move yourself or your parents here...

I only know a person living in the assisted living area. Its pretty great. The skilled nursing center seems nice when I have been on that end of the building. It smells good and residents tend to like the food. Excursions available for assisted living members... not sure about LTC residents.

I hate this place because they try to take all the money from those elderly people. They force them to pay for dinner that sometimes doesn't agree with them. If you bring them a letter from your doctor stating that you can't eat their food they'll put you out on the street. If you need a light bulb changed they'll charge you $2 for everything you need help in they charge you. Oh and by the way you only get one meal per day not three. If I had a bigger place I would bring my friend home with me, but because my house is so tiny I can't help her. Good luck to all those seniors there.

Food plan is mandatory does not matter if you eat the food or not. You still must pay!!! You pay through your nose!! If one thing goes wrong on your part you get a nasty note from the front office!!! Stay clear of this place I am trying to get out!! Been here about 4 months already looking around. The are like highway robbers of the old west without the mask. They cater to the jewish and people with money. People on HUD are looked down on. Management doesn't care if you live here or not!!! Example bragged about putting a man in a wheelchair out because he broke the rules. It doesn't matter if the person is elderly or handicapped they all get treated equally poorly!! Management acts inhumane!! Head of dining room changes rules at will, there have been complaints of food making people sick and rodents running across peoples feet while eating.
