“We hit a dead deer on I-81 S which completely mangled our skid plate and caused it to drag on the ground. With every body shop closed on the weekend Lube City was open to take a look at our car and assess the damage last minute. They were able to remove the skid plate, pull off the busted trim, fix the heat sheild on the exhaust so it wouldn't rattle, and get us on our way. Amazing service! Professional, compationate, and quick. Could not thank them enough!!”

They worked with me to drop and pick up vehicles after business hours and do not push services that are unnecessary. I would send someone who has no knowledge about vehicles there with confidence they would not be taken advantage of.

“Rodger is a very nice man. He is looking for a car for us because our car's computer went out and will cost almost $5,000.00 to get fixed. We don't have that kind of money since we just moved back into our house from the fire in which we had lost everything, and upon moving back in, the contractors didn't fix it right, so we had to get attorney. I explained the situation to Rodger, and he said he would be on the lookout for me. That is the most help I have had since the fire. Thank you Rodger.”

Her names Lindsey I think. Kenny & Lily are very open to questions about work & everything that they would recommend. I normally feel uncomfortable going to shops just because I know some will take advantage of a person who don’t know much about cars but I’ve always felt so comfortable here. Lindsey up front is also very honest with my billing as well! All questions answered & no hesitation. 10/10 recommend!”
“We send our faithful customers to Accurate Transmission 100% of the time when our shop turns away work because they are a specialty shop with the knowledge of your transmission where we are not. I have YET, nor has our staff EVER had bad reports of them being wrong or dishonest. I am thankful for Accurate keeping my customers on the road so they can continue doing business with all our local facilities. My advice to the one stars …. “Car breakdown near McConnellsburg, PA, on Friday afternoon July 12. Engine overheated due to leak. Called towing service and left car at Dick’s Auto Repair, keys and contact info in mail box per instructions from customer service. Shop owner called Monday morning, July 15 with repair estimate. Car was repaired and ready to pick up Tuesday afternoon on July 16. The repair & labor costs were reasonable. I was very impressed with the service provided for a small, local and Veteran owned shop. I definitely would recommend Dick’s Auto Repair.”

“Eric is someone you look for in this business. He is someone you can trust. Good news or bad news he is honest, he will always go the extra mile, and the work he does is quality. I once had an issue with an older car I bought that 3 other shops couldn’t figure out. They all charged me too much money for surface level fixes that didn’t eliminate the problem. Eric spent a lot of time on my car (honestly way longer than what he charged me for) performing all kinds of tests trying to figure out the problem. Because he said he would run a diagnostic and find out why my car was acting up, he did. He is a man of his word. There is a difference between a mechanic that identifies possible causes of a problem and tests them to identify the root of the issue, and a mechanic that just tells you whatever the OBD scan tool says. At this shop they are the former. Nothing but good things to say about them. My car was 13 years old when I brought it to them, it’s now 18 years old. Haven’t had an issue with it since. He doesn’t take long with repairs either. Because he is thorough, though, charges a fair price, and people like him, don’t expect them to be able to turn you around in the same day. Keep that in mind when it comes to scheduling.”

“After a nightmare of a range anxiety experience with my F150 lightning, my wife and I decided to look at the GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1. While returning from an overnight work trip, I impulsively stopped by Sheehy GMC of Hagerstown and was promptly greeted by the amazing Wanda Bennett. I was in my two-day old work clothes: a green "Ocean City, MD" hoodie, a dusty black puffer work jacket, with a beat-up trucker's cap, didn't exactly meet the profile of a Denali buyer. I explained to Wanda of my predicament. She took the time and care to listen to my every word and guided me without the stereotypical high pressure sales. I also met her manager, Chris, who also displayed same calm, professional demeanor. He gave me his best price up front, suggested his professional expertise in regard to my two truck trade-ins. I also informed them, that this was my first stop, and I had three other dealerships to check out. No stringing along, no non-sense. Chris and Wanda wished me luck and promised to follow up. After bouncing from dealership to dealership, my final stop was at a dealership where I last purchased my current truck. To my surprise, I was engulfed in the dreaded stereotypical "car buying experience" at my "own" dealership! They tried to guilt me, humiliate me, contradict me into buying theirs over Sheehy's. In the end, they did offer a very competitive offer for my trade-ins but not without leaving me with a horrible taste of disgust. I left without buying. Next morning, when Wanda followed up as she promised, I initially told her I was going to wait. After mulling over ourselves back and forth, we decided to sell our trade-ins on our own and to go ahead with the purchase. Sheehy GMC of Hagerstown was the farthest from my house, over an hour an a half away. While other (much closer) dealerships were willing to match Sheehy's offer or even beat their trade-in values, we couldn't help ourselves from driving back with delight, back to Hagerstown. The warmth of family, professional courtesy, and no hassle buying is very real at Sheehy GMC Hagerstown! From the finance manager who kindly explained the contract without trying to hard upsell (I did end up buying the Sheehy VIP pass), to Wendy, the evening manager that night who really took care of me when we hit a minor hitch, to Steve, a neighboring salesperson, who kindly struck up a conversation and voluntarily showed me how to operate the truck while I waited, this had to be my most memorable, pleasant car buying experience in my 50 year old, 25-year veteran-salesperson's life!! They had me at hello. Our deepest gratitude to the entire family at Sheehy. Their tag line is "It's that easy at Sheehy" and it really was. Forget 5 stars, everyone deserves 10 stars! “If you want your job done and you want it done right, you bring it here to Robert and his team. Robert's knowledge is as deep as it is vast. I've dealt with a lot of mechanics and shops over the years and Robert's shop is the only one where I haven't felt a little nervous at some point. You can tell he has passion with the knowledge and experience to back it up.
I brought Robert a very strange job: a Mitsubishi Pajero - a right-hand drive Japanese import with a diesel engine never sold in North America - and he was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the engine issues, patiently explain the issues in depth to me, and connect me with the right people for some machine shop work. Robert also did lots of troubleshooting for the 4WD system, a rather complex and unique system we never even had in North America. While he had the car, he also did rust repair and re-sprayed and paint matched the engine bay. It looks incredible; I am still shocked he was able to match it so well.
Robert could have looked at this and sent me packing (like most other shops did). Instead, he buckled down and got the job done. I'm not sure I'd trust anyone else at this point.”
