Big thanks to Rod and Steve for taking the time to explain everything and figure out the mystery sound.”
“I took my Jeep wrangler in to be serviced by this automotive shop and I would definitely take it back for future services. I was having an issue with the cooling system and this shop was able to get me in same day and complete the repairs the same day. They also suggested services for another issue that was related to the main issue I took my vehicle in for the first place; so I am glad they told me right then and there so that the issue could be addressed. That repair was also done in a timely manner and I was able to retrieve my vehicle the next day. There are too many times you have dishonest people who would not have even mentioned the other issue and let you take your vehicle away only to have to bring it back for more services and more money. This shop DID NOT do that, they let me know right away and I appreciate that. I would definitely take my vehicle back to this shop if I needed to.”

“I've been using this shop for a while now. Bob's fixed every problem I brought him in a timely fashion. I do shop around even though I know I'm bringing my car to him. I have AAA and his prices are always lower than their shops. Beware, however, there is no real office to sit in if you need that. It's there, but it's not really for sitting. Great staff though. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon.”

“I have used Interstate since 2005 and I have had all my cars serviced there, when looking for a mechanic, you want someone who is fair and honest and who can explain your issues and show you what you need done. Rob is a fantastic owner he does extra stuff that you may not get charged for, and if your part is no longer available, he will come up with a solution. The cost of parts is what it is and labor goes with it, but if you want a caring mechanic, someone you can build a relationship with Rob is your guy, I am a very satisfied customer, he is a very knowledgeable and a Pro mechanic. Remember if you want cheap prices you normally get cheap work, treat your car like it is one of your children and Rob will keep your car running just like a kid. In these days of the pandemic we all have to give back to get, give Interstate a try and you will not be disappointed.”

“This auto shop restored my faith in humanity. The incredibly kind manager of J&B auto saw me on the side of the road with a flat tire. It was after the shop closed, but he stopped to help me assess the problem (turns out I ran over a nail), calmed me down, then lent me an air pump so I could get home. He even offered to go back to the shop to fix the tire right then - after he had already closed for the day. Fortunately I was able to get enough air to get the car home then bring it to the shop in the morning when they opened. His team quickly fixed the problem with a patch and were so amazing and nice. THANK YOU JAZI!!! You are a hero!!!”
“Motor World is a reliable, honest, quick and reasonably-priced automotive shop. I have used them for 8+ years for regular maintenance and repairs. Soon after having another mechanic install an alternator, my car suddenly stopped on the beltway. It was late in the evening and the shop I normally used was closed. AAA recommended having it towed to Motor World. I was shocked when Motor World made me aware that not only did I need an alternator, but that the one I just had installed was used, not new as I had been told and charged for. After making the other mechanic install a new one, Motor World agreed to re-inspect it at no charge. I have taken my car to Motor World thinking I had a major problem, and they diagnosed the issue as being minor and MUCH less cost than expected, and what the dealer would have charged. My Infinite is now 13+ years old and still purrs like a kitten. You can’t go wrong with Motor World.”

“Google reviews led me to AAMCO in Silver Spring and I am grateful that they did. I have been experiencing troubles with my car accelerating uphill and reversing, and was told almost a year ago by my former mechanic that I needed a new transmission (est $4k). I finally went to AAMCO to get a second opinion/ have the work done, only to find out that all I needed was transmission fluid. Imagine driving around for year ruining your transmission because you do not have any fluid, and no one bothered to check it out or properly diagnose the issue (in the past year I've been to Jiffy Lube for an oil change and another mechanic in DC). I'm so grateful to Luke for his kind and hospitable service, and BJ for actually listening to my concerns, and taking his time to diagnose what was wrong with my vehicle, and happy that it was a relatively inexpensive fix (for now).”
