Fairhaven is a beautiful and scenic 300-acre retirement community in Sykesville, MD, convenient to Baltimore and Washington, D.C. It offers more than 30 floor plans including apartment homes, villas, and cottages, with continuing care accommodations like assisted living and skilled nursing right on campus. The lovely setting has plenty of trees, grass, and walking paths, creating a pleasant, homey feel with lots of activities for residents. The staff is consistently described as kind, accommodating, friendly, and supportive. They become a huge part of families, providing phenomenal support in difficult times and fulfilling every request. The community is noted for its wonderful friends and neighbors, where folks are friendly and welcoming. Residents enjoy the many activities, the wooded walking trails, garden plots, and the overall sense of community. For many, moving to Fairhaven was the right choice, providing a supportive environment where everyone feels fortunate to be part of the Fairhaven family.

We used this for an event. It seems the new owners have put some money in, and everything looks great. It was clean, and seemed well taken care of.

My mom has lived at Acts Fairhaven for 6 years. In that time she has benefitted greatly from a variety of services the retirement community offers. Mom and I are especially grateful for the friendly, compassionate and dedicated care of the administrators and staff.
