I appreciated the senior veterans of the group who spoke up and gave good corrective feedback in realtime and taught the less seasoned members of the team. They were all very respectful of our new space- taking off shoes etc to enter carpeted areas. They worked hard and efficiently, and cleaned as they went. They worked well together as a team, with positive energy and communication. They listened to each other and helped each other out. The actual move couldn’t have gone better. We had a ton of stuff in our three-story townhouse, but the team handled everything without a hitch. “I used NYP movers recently and was glad I did. While this was a local move, it was complicated by the fact that some things were going to my new place, some to a different home and some were staying in my home to be picked up later by an organization. Amazingly, everything got to the right place with one minor glitch, which they immediately resolved. The four person moving team worked especially well together and were respectful and cooperative through the whole experience.
Communication was good throughout. Ali took the time to meet with me beforehand to be sure everything was clear and that I knew what to expect on moving day. Text messages were promptly returned, which was very appreciated. I would definitely recommend using NYP movers to others.”

“We highly recommend this moving company. They worked with us to provide competitive pricing and were very careful in both packing and moving our 4 bedrooms (including a piano) from MD to VA. While careful, they were also very efficient, coming in slightly under the estimated hours. Additionally, my wife was 36 weeks pregnant, and all of the movers were so kind, volunteering to help her beyond what they were contracted to move. Lastly, the owner reached out to us personally within an hour over the weekend when we reached out about a billing question. In all ways, they very much eased the extreme stress that a move always is!”
