“This place will be my go to for my Asian ingredient needs. They have Filipino, Japanese, Vietnamese, and Thai goods which are perfect because I like the variety they offer. The first time I came here I got the following: rice cake, beef brisket sliced thin, Japanese soup base, inari, green papaya, bamboo shoots, limes, vermicelli noodles, patis, and other random snacks and sauces that I can recall at the moment. The owner,Ploy, is super nice and helpful!”

“Walked in looking for bulgar wheat saw people getting walk in COVID and flu shots needed to unthaw the COVID booster but no apt. or waiting a week so I did it. One in each arm. Done! Got talking to a retired Navy guy who it turns out was in terrible auto accident over 40 years ago and I was the night x ray tech who did his x rays and was up all night doing post op. Rays so I remember him. We had great docs back at Pease so he didn't lose his leg and has no limp to this day. Small world. Proud to have served my country.”

“The store was so clean I was honestly taken aback by it when I first walked in. It smelled so fresh and we were immediately greeted. Everything was so organized and neat on every shelf. We live right next to the DG in Lexington Park by Blimpies and would be more likely to travel to this one if we didn't have to make a u-turn to come back to enter. My 4 star is due to the entrance and I'm sure others would rather drive past to go into Weis then worry about turning around.ALSO JENNIFER IS AMAZING ?”

“Great selection of groceries. A bit pricy on some items, but I guess that’s how all stores are these days. Friendly staff, and I do mean they are friendly, helpful, always checking to see if they can help you find anything They even help me get my groceries in my car and they lift heavy containers of water which this senior woman can't lift on my own!. The store is always clean. I especially like their deli! Their selections are great and they carry some hard-to-find meats and cheeses. This store is very well managed and a delight to shop in!”

“Prices are a little much, but as long as you shop the stuff that's on offer you'll be fine. Shelves are well stocked. Keep a close eye on your produce. Some are top notch. Some are not so much but still pretty spendy. Produce section really needs to rotate product more often for what they're charging. The stars of this place are the staff. Holy wow. So so nice and friendly, and having fun chatting with you while checking you out. It's that little extra lovely interaction on your way out that pushes this to a full 5 stars. Without the staff, this place would be any other grocery store. That is not the case.”

“I fill up my tank here. FYI Yes I get premium 85 octane... any more questions? MY process, I usually pull up to the gas pump and then realize that Im on the wrong side of the car, so i drive reverse style and fix it. then i hop out of my sedan and tap the screen for the gas. then i open my gas cap, pump in hand, squeeze the trigger, and spray some gas on the outside of my car for goods luck, then i put it in the gas hole. now the anticipating begins. usually 5-10 minutes later the gas starts gushing out of the tank and i spill a couple galons (i smoke backwoods while i wait and typically do not notice the gas is done). then i mount the pump back to the station and drive off merry on my way. My secret? I don't pay, I can't share how I get away with it, but I haven't paid for gas since March 6th, 1993. Its a fantastic workaround that hasn't failed me yet. Thank you bjs”

You're checking receipts at the Walmart. A simple? "Hey, that one way entry thing is going to scream at you. All you gotta do is go a few feet down and go around." Nah. Instead I get this death glare and a snotty little comment. Whatever. But literally every other staff member is over the moon nice and friendly. Shelves are neatly arranged, and aisles are kept clean and sparkling. Requests for help are met with enthusiasm to get you to the product you need. Items are restocked unobtrusively and quickly. When it's time to leave, there are plenty of cashiers to ring out your purchases. Cashiers are efficient and quick, while still genuinely smiling and asking how you're doing. Since kindness is free, the cashiers here have chosen to give you as much as they can muster. It just made the whole interaction lovely. Y'all are superstars, and deserve the love that the customers were giving you while I waited on line. Absolute legends.”
