“I have been bringing my car to this NTB ever since I moved to the DMV area nearly 10 years ago now. The staff are always courteous and professional, they have taken the greatest of care with my car when any repairs are needed. There is staff on hand that know how to drive manual transmission vehicles (which some shops do not), so I never have to worry about damage being done to my car by someone who does not know how to drive a manual transmission vehicle. If they notice anything else while working on my car I always recieve a call and am told what has been found, an estimated cost of repair, and am asked if i would like the additional repair(s) to be done. Also, they do not create BS stuff that needs to be done on my car that actually does not need to be done. Being a woman, this has happened to me at many other repair shops. I am soo glad I have found a repair shop that does not do that. They always tell me like it is, which I highly appreciate. You won't regret bringing your car here for work that is needed. I sure haven't!!!”

Dave gave us the diagnostic print out as well as a text that included a video of the items needing replacement and he was able to answer and explain everything in great detail. The kind young lady that checked me in is very knowledgeable as well and very professional. “After waiting at the competitor next door with clearly no customers inside and 3 people working, I drove next door to Southern. I walked in Tony greeted me with a smile. I asked for a tire ? rotation he came back and told me I needed three tires changed. I went to check with him and thanked him for looking out for my safety. It was clean ? inside, floors clean and didn’t feel or smell greasy dirty. I’m not lying ? go check it out for yourself and then walk over next door to WIYGUL — totally different atmosphere.”

Southern Tire and Auto Centers has given me the best experience I’ve ever had at any auto shop. As someone who works on their own car, I can say these guys know what they’re doing.
I’ve had two sets of custom or aftermarket rims installed here over the past few years, and both times they handled them with care and got everything mounted quickly. When I needed an alignment with my second set, they sent me to their St. Patrick’s Dr. location because the machine there grabs the tires instead of the rims just to protect my wheels. That level of honesty is rare.
Highly recommend!”

“I left a jobsite today headed to a new one in Waldorf. Once I arrived we noticed I had nails and screws in my tires and one of my tires was losing air quick. I called around to about three different tire places and none of them had time to see me. Unfamiliar with the tire spots in Waldorf I continued to call a couple others. I had never heard of McCarthy Tire Service until today. I will not take my vehicle to anyone else from here forward! The guys were super friendly and quick to get me back on the road again. They could have easily gouged me in finances due to my desperation at the moment. Instead I was shocked to find the bill a whole lot less than what I was anticipating. Thanks guys! Perfect job!”

“Went to Sam's for coffee and ended up with PJ's for our annual family Christmas picture! Lol!Let's face it. If you go into Sam's you will need to open up your purse and give a few extra coins because they have such a wide variety of things available. Not only are their things you would find in a grocery store but there are fresh flowers, furniture, tires and clothes too.I also love their convenient prepared foods. I usually grab a rotisserie chicken with a salad for a quick Friday night dinner. I will say this is the first time I did have to wait in line for it. But it wasn't too long.Of course there is a annual membership fee but I always find a good deal on Groupon.I love Sam's but I have to limit my trips because I always spend way over my budget(in a good way)”
“I had a very positive experience with Mr. Tire at the mall. I used to go to a different tire place, I won’t mention any names, and for the first time, they wouldn’t even give me a contact persons name to receive my tires I purchased from Tire Rack. So I took a chance with Mr. Tire and I’m glad I did. Not only were they less expensive, they were courteous, professional, and friendly. It took time to do the work because my truck wasn’t the only one they were working on, but they worked as quickly as they could and my truck drove smoothly with no issues. I am happy to have her back on the road. Also, I’ll be going to Mr. Tire from now on to have my tires installed. They did great work.”

“the gas is a good price, plenty of parking. New carts. I've found that veggies and meats are fresh and reasonably priced. The folks offering samples are typically helpful. Deli staff has always been good. I've never ordered from the bakery so I have no review of that. The car maintain staff are not the friendliest but they got the work done well. They were mostly aggravated with people coming in with no appointment. I guess they need to let people know that they aren't staffed for drop in business. Service desk has always been pleasant to deal with. I've not used their eye glass service so I cannot review that.”
