“So glad I went to this post office! Usually I go to the Springfield office but I happened to be in West Springfield so I went there and I was just SO impressed by the clerk who waited on me! She was kind, concise, and she knew exactly what she was doing. She was so knowledgeable and quick. I’ll definitely be coming back. Her name was Riley, and I hope she gets a raise for all the hard work she does!”

“After I sent my last set of postcards at the post office in Washington Depot I needed more post card stamps for the next step. This post office was not out of my way and at 10:00am, they're open. Easy! The clerk was helpful, friendly and efficient though he had to go in the back to hunt up some postcard stamps for me. It's a small post office and the only thing missing is a drive up and drop off lane, and an automated postage vending machine. [Review 18410 overall - 76 in Connecticut - 1932 of 2022.]”

We normally love this post office but whoever you’ve got working here 2/21 & 2/22 2023 at the counter keeps screwing up and very clearly has way under zero clue what she’s doing. “I love love love !!!! This post office? They are open significantly longer and more days of the week than virtually any other office! I have EVERY SINGLE time, been treated with respect! I mail on average, three or 4 packages a week, usually with QR codes, and that requires the counter person to take extra steps and print a label and affix it to the package. Not once has there been a problem with anyone not receiving their package, or any attitude from employees, or anything else that would dissuade me from holding the opinion that it is the best Post office location in the area!! Thank you guys for all that you do and I will definitely be there soon!!”

“I walked in on the Saturday before Christmas expecting to find the usual grumpy, long-lines, poor service that we have all come to hate about USPS. My mail- including my Christmas packages- had gone missing and were never delivered. I expected to be told to fill out some forms and that my packages were lost. Instead, I found Joe, the manager. Not only did Joe find my 4!! Packages but he figured out why I hadn't been receiving mail for weeks. He did it all with a smile and calm demeanor. It took about 15-20 minutes to figure everything out and there was no attitude, eye rolling, or general dismissiveness we usually see at USPS. I am grateful for that and for for Joe this Christmas. Thanks Joe!”

“I admit, I was terrified when my package from St. Louis to Seattle somehow ended up on the opposite coast in Massachusetts. I was even more upset when I read the reviews for this distribution center. Fortunately for me, they redirected my package to its proper direction in a timely matter. I had no conversation with them, because I didn't need to. They handled it. I appreciate that alot. So, if your package ends up here, give them a lil time and patience. It may arrive later than expected, but it will arrive.”

“Edit: after expressing my concern I received a call from the acting postmaster David. He went out of his way to talk to me for 20 minutes on his personal cell phone and made me feel valued and addressed my concerns. Also a big shout out to Ryan the supervisor who has also gone above and beyond just to be pleasant and accommodatingAbsolutely terrible service. I have been hung up on and talked to rudely by both supervisors zack etc. I was told that the mail carrier would get to me when he gets to me. We run a business where they pick up our packages every day and we provided over $40,000 in revenue for the Postal Service last year alone. They could care less and still when I call to have my packages picked up even when I put an online request I end up sitting on hold until I give up or being talked down to. Absolutely a travesty of what the post office once was”

“Writing this as I just sent a package today but will update if anything changes.Contrary to other reviews, the staff were extremely nice to me and others around me. I talked to 3 people which consisted of a younger gentleman, the older man and the older woman which were all very helpful and quick with me. I didn't feel like they were racist to me at all and same with the other Hispanic guys that were in front of me as well. I dropped the package off at 5PM and by 7PM it departed the store and USPS was in possession of the item.It seems they are improving their business but the only con that remains is that it's cash only.
