“Been going here for 5-6 years now. Staff is always welcoming and friendly, always busy. They offer wash and fold but I only ever use self service. Can get busy on the weekend, I topically go on week nights and never had an issue not getting a machine. The machines are clean, never had any clothing damaged or destroyed. Also, grate you don't have to scramble for quarter, they have a laundry card ($1fee) you can load and reuse. They will also cash out the card and refund you the $1. Could use a good high dusting.”

“Had a bunch of my pants tailored at the waist as well as one hem by the leg. All of them were well done. I also had a hoodie with a cooking oil stain that was months old dry cleaned as well and they were able to get it out.”

“I'm here right now Valentines Day and of course I spilled coffee on my comforter both of them so Thank you Neptune. I haven't been here in about 13 years so of course the machines are 21st century and it's 950 pm . The only good thing about this whole fiasco is the gentleman who is working here I wasn't sure if I needed a laundry card I only had 11.00$ on me my wash was 20.49 but he obviously could tell I was just a little overwhelmed. I gave him my bank card he bought the laundry card plus he put enough money on it so I had NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT . I don't want to seem to forward and ask his name but if anyone at Neptune reads this know that you really have an employee that loves helping people . PS HE ALSO HASNT STOPPED CLEANING ALL THE MACHINES AND SWEEPING WHILE IVE BEEN HERE PLACE IS SPOTLESS”

“The couple who own this laundromat are so nice and caring! There were a few times when I had to wash some large blankets and they held open the washer door for me with me asking. When they saw me struggling to take clothes out of the lower dryer, they got me a basket. The dryers are also huge which works out perfect when I do a large load of clothing. I definitely recommend them!”

“I have a sweater with a unique style and color I bought in Ireland. Another cleaning business cleaned the sweater. It shrunk a whole size. I tried to block the sweater myself. That did not work. Sunray was able to block the sweater and move buttons so it fit again. I highly recommend Sunray Cleaners. They do an excellent job with specialty items and regular dry cleaning. Their staff are very helpful and professional.”

“I am really grateful for Ashmont. My cleaners for almost a decade recently closed and I was looking for a new place to patronize. I decided to try Ashmont Cleaners because they open at 7 and are down the street from my gym. I have used them three times in the last few weeks, getting suits, dress shirts and an overcoat cleaned and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of cleaning, the reasonable pricing and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. “I needed to have a bridesmaids dress hemmed and chose to give this place a try thanks to the great Yelp reviews. I had a seamless (pun intended) experience and would definitely come back! It was a pretty simple hem, but the tailor gave me some great advice on exactly how long it should be in the front and back and the final product was the perfect length. When I dropped it off, he warned me that it's their busy season but ensured he could get it done in the three week deadline I provided. In the end, it only took a week which was a nice surprise! The cost was $70 which was fair in my experience around Boston. Heads up that parking near the shop is a bit tricky without a Cambridge parking permit, but there are a few metered spots nearby if you get lucky. It's totally worth it in the end though, so like I said, I would totally come back again the next time I need some alterations.”

The manager is always so friendly, whereas a lot of other access point locations are rude, limit the size of items you can drop off, etc. It's SO nice to have this option right in Southie (I use RTR every month, so always am returning packages).
