U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer
1356 Commonwealth Avenue, Allston MA 02134
“Amazing staff. I have rented from various Uhaul facilities around the country and the service we received the other day from Chris and Jahn was far superior to the service provided by any other U haul employees. They were friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful. They made us feel like valued customers and were so accommodating. If you need a rental in Boston, be sure to use this facility and ask for Chris and Jahn, you will not be disappointed.”

Budget Truck Rental
183 Cambridge Street, Allston MA 02134
“The gentleman at this location is the definition of helpful customer service. My husband and I needed to make a flight, took our rented truck back to this location only to learn they don’t accept trailers. We would have e had to fight heavy congestion with a truck and trailer to go to the location that does. He find a solution for us instead of just siting policy. This is humanity at its finest. I didn’t catch his name amidst all the stress but we are so very grateful for his kindness and solution based mindset.”

U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer
12 Brattle Ct, Arlington MA 02476
“I picked up the truck using online application, because the office was closed at that day. I recommend the following: 1. The online instruction doesn't specify where to find the black box with the truck key. I was looking for the black box on the truck, and its cargo area. Turned out the black box was outside the office door on the wall. It was somewhat frustrating, Please update the instructions with the location of the black box. 2. While looking for the black box, I was trying to contact a UHaul representative with the question. The only well visible contacts were the address and phone of the office, which was closed. Their phone was sending me to the voice mail, which would be read in a few days. I finally found 800 number in one of emails/app messages. People at 800 number were great. Please, make sure that the 800 number is included everywhere where UHaul contact information is provided, especially on the days when the local office is closed.”

“Moving is never easy, but working with U-Haul of Malden-Route 60 to have our U-Boxes delivered, stored, and ready for our arrival made the process remarkably smooth. The person who truly made the experience exceptional was Andy, who proactively called and texted us to answer questions, confirm details, and ensure everything was in place before we arrived. His communication and customer service gave us confidence during an otherwise stressful move. The location was convenient, well organized, and had everything we needed to make our transition to Boston as easy as possible. While moving is always a challenge, U-Haul of Malden-Route 60 was a bright spot in the process, and I would gladly use this location again.”

U-Haul Moving & Storage at Central Square
844 Main St, Cambridge MA 02139
“10 stars to my guy Alan but only 4 stars to U-Haul. Process was smooth and easy for me but I was there on August 1 at 9am and Alan was the only one working on an insanely busy morning. Several people's trucks/equipment were unavailable and Alan was a wizard simultaneously calling and texting shops all around the greater Boston area while checking in 2-3 people at once. Give my man Alan a raise.”

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Route 16 Medford / Somerville
600 Mystic Valley Pkwy, Somerville MA 02144
“The associates at this location were the best I’ve experienced. After my rental, I went into the store for more boxes. I heard one client, who was on the phone, ask if the lines were recorded because he wanted whomever was listening to know the associate deserved a raise. I concur. It was 19 degrees and after doing all of the self check out in the frigid cold, the truck I was assigned wouldn’t start. Completely frustrating. Fortunately, the associate had just arrived that morning. She turned what was beginning to be terrible experience, into a good one. She made sure I had a clean, working truck, which I so appreciated. They all work as if they are the owners. You can’t ask for more than that.”

Collegeboxes at U-Haul of Brighton
240 N Beacon St, Brighton MA 02135
“Negative reviews don't align with my experienceOnly criticism I have is placement of plastic trash barrel next to Customer Service entranceAllston/Brighton has vicious Rat problem - that can be verified with city 6-1-1 - it has little to do with how clean/dirty area is; that being said, there are necessary steps/interventions to control issueRats are like hybrid, steroid, small dog sized, bold & disease-ridden - be very mindful entering/exiting after darkAs I approached to toss Starbucks trash in, whole barrel shook & moved - I knew exactly what it was & warned Customer Service Staff & other customers Cardboard is literal Rat Candy, so of course they lurk around U-Haul but a steel trash barrel with a lid or even more mindful placement away from Customer Entrance would be helpful (Rats can't chew thru steel - they literally eat thru plastic barrels - this one is no exception)Staff were very helpful - Isaiah checked me in answering all questions, explaining details as well as upgrading & discounting rental - didn't catch name of man processing return but he too was very helpful & mindful of expenses- excellent Customer Service Equipment was clean & well-maintained as wellMy experience was excellent Highly recommend Brighton location”
