“We hand my son's 18th birthday party at the Amesbury location. About 25 family of all ages and everyone had a blast bowling and axe throwing. Tessa provied such kind ,patient service in the axe room. With an upbeat positive attitude, she made sure we felt comfortable with the axe and had all the supplies needed. This was a great celebration to remember.”

“The Victoria Inn hosted us for our wedding. We utilized the beautiful outdoor gazebo for our ceremony and the Garden Pavilion for our reception. The owners were wonderful. They communicated well with us throughout the process of planning our big day and were receptive to customizing aspects of the experience for us. They also coordinated well with the food vendors we brought in to make sure all food service was seamless.

The Inn itself was lovely. It has a unique decor with a cozy bed and breakfast vibe. They offered us the opportunity to rent out all the rooms to members of our wedding party, as well as rent the downstairs common area for a smaller post-wedding reception celebration (with bar service). We effectively had the whole place to ourselves for the night before and after our wedding, which was great.

Breakfast was also included each morning with a few options, prepared fresh and to order for each guest. We had the kitchen prepare appetizers for our wedding as well (chicken, fruit, and cheeses), which guests enjoyed. There were options for most dietary restrictions. All staff were friendly, and the owners would go out of their way to help with any issues we encountered.

Pricing for the venue and the rooms was reasonable. We’d recommend the venue and inn for anyone looking for a middle budget space for their wedding. We even plan to go back and stay for a future anniversary.”

“Love a selection and the old ski ball machines are fantastic! Pinball was also fantastic although I will say one of them had a flipper getting stuck, but all of them play music loud enough for you to hear which is really something! Definitely will return”

“This is a great little local theater where we went to see two people covering Taylor Swift songs. The performers were Berkeley graduates and they performed for about an hour and were playing both a fiddle and an acoustic guitar. There was a concession stand and plenty of people to help you find your seats. We would definitely go back to see something performed here again!”

“We initially picked Groveland Fairways because it's a BEAUTIFUL venue, they do one event per day, and they have great indoor/outdoor spaces for guests to be able to spread out and relax. The venue itself is charming with beautiful flowers, lush greenery, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, and plenty of space inside as well.

I had my wedding reception this past Saturday at Groveland Fairways, and it was an absolutely PERFECT day. I could not possibly give higher praise to the Groveland Fairways staff--they are incredibly kind, supportive, and lead you through the whole entire process.

When I originally booked Groveland, it was with the previous owner. I was notified after I signed the contract that the venue was being bought by Wedgewood and at first I was a little nervous. I had no need to be. Not only did they honor every aspect of my original contract, but they also proactively reached out to make sure I felt comfortable and clear on the transition.

I worked with both Nicole and Julia throughout the rest of the planning process. They walked me through every step of planning the wedding and truly helped my unique vision come to life. They were patient with me when I changed my mind or asked questions, they were supportive and encouraging with my ideas, and made sure that I thought through everything that I needed.

On Saturday, Nicole (my day of coordinator) set up everything exactly as I had hoped and helped the whole entire event flow smoothly. By the time I got to the reception, I didn't need to worry about anything else, because we were completely taken care of. Our guests had the absolute BEST time and commented on how smoothly everything went. Nicole was so attentive to anything we needed and made sure that my husband and I (and our party) had appetizers and drinks and were supported as the event got started. They helped us with anything we needed throughout the event, which was not much, because everything had been planned and organized so perfectly.

At the end of the night, they packed everything back up into our labeled boxes and on a cart so that we could get everything into the car quickly and efficiently and in an organized way, which was SO appreciated.

Weddings can be so challenging because you've never really planned one before. You're planning an event, but it's also an emotional and special day and you hope everything goes perfectly. With Nicole and Julia on my side, I felt at ease through the whole process and then the reception went as perfectly as I could have ever hoped for. I am so grateful to the Wedgewood/Groveland Fairways staff. My husband and I, as well as all our guests, had an incredible evening and were able to enjoy every minute of it thanks to the care and attentiveness of the staff and all the great vendors.”

“We hosted our wedding at Steeple Hall and the venue and staff exceeded expectations. We looked at so many venues and before we found Steeple Hall and Nik, we were ready to give up. Nik was very accommodating to all of our requested without upcharging us for every single ask, which was so important to us.

On the day of the event, we were able to drop off boxes and boxes of decor and did not have to worry about a thing - the Steeple Hall team was able to set everything up to our specifications, they allowed out vendors to deliver items and set up hours prior to the start time. The venue was well staffed with our amazing coordinator Nik, his associate, Cathie, and the bartender, Kristin. They ensured that our event went off without a hitch and there was an open line of communication to ask any questions, as well as subtly connecting with us throughout the night to ensure we were happy. Following the event, the team packed up our belonging for us and we were able to pick them up the next morning.

We enjoyed dinner and dessert, and heard from multiple guests that it was delicious. We would absolutely recommend Steeple Hall to other couples looking to host a reception, or any family looking to host a party.”
