“I wanted a book on the history of Andover Ma/hardcover for a neighbor/friend, I grew up with and one for myself. It was ordered and it was in as expected: 10-2wks. The Saleswoman was lovely & knowledgeable and Sooo happy to visit Andover Book store again, as I was raised here! Miss the former Bookstore but still love the Andover Bookstore, as it brings fond memories for me. Stop in!!! You will be pleasantly surprised!”

“They have an adorable children's section with great books. They have a "growing up" bookshelf with tons of useful books with sweet messages. Staff was very friendly but not overbearing.”

“It feels like you get a hug when you walk in the door! Everyone is very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. They offer many classes in person and online. There's a nice in-house selection of crystals and other magickal items. Great with advice and willingness to order what you're looking for if they don't have it in stock.”

“Welfare Records is a great place to get used music and the selection is amazing. Michael the owner is a great guy and very helpful when you need to find a certain artist or band. The prices are exceptional and it's one of those stores that you look forward to going to on a regular basis. There is always something there that interests your music tastes. Although I gave up my vinyl collection decades ago, I am certainly impressed with the volume of LP's on sale at Welfare Records. It gives the store a nostalgic feeling, kind of like going to the record store back in the 80's. I am a regular customer now and my friends in Florida who visited recently and went to Welfare Records are so jealous that we have such a great used music store here and they don't !”

“I love the vibe of this place. The food is always fresh and cooked to order. I'm not sure if the chef is the owner or if it's in the family but they expanded the menu a while back when café azteca in Lawrence closed. This place has amazing Mexican food. Their mole is amazing. Please eat lunch here everyday!!”

“It's a compact format Barnes that's pretty much no-nonsense - feels quite like the Amazon bookstore it replaced, but a little more interested in books. Funny how the OG bookstore can feel kinda indie in the wake of such things ? Pair it up with a local used bookstore and you can stay Bezos-free! (Try The Book Oasis in Stoneham!)They can order you any book you might need for no extra cost and get it within a day or two. The staff are always helpful when I'm asking for obscure books!”

“Amazing store with a wonderful, God-fearing staff who treat their jobs not as merely sources of income, but as their ministry and vocation to spreading the Holy Gospel.”

“Great going here, mainly cause I went with my friend named Josh and made a fool of both of us. The staff are nice and friendly, though like most teenagers/ young adults they did kinda seem a little tired, but that's ok, working a job in a toy store can tend to be stressful at times. Always love stopping in every now and then!”

“It's always fun to browse the shelves and find new stories to read. I read mostly manga now which can be hard to find in other bookstores. Their non-book related stuff is great too (I found some great vinyl here!)”
