I went to purchase some produce and noticed mold on the vents above, dripping condensation directly onto the fresh fruits and vegetables.
During the self-checkout process, the cashier, Sunita, was present the entire time. While I believe her intentions were good, she repeatedly hovered around us, repeating instructions and making us feel as though we were unfamiliar with grocery shopping.
Altogether not a very pleasant shopping experience and likely won't be back.

This is a pretty good store to shop at, despite their size they are pretty well-stacked and offer good variety. They are regularly understaffed in my opinion, but the people working there are pretty awesome, so it saves this place from 3 stars.

I really want to like this place, but it feels old, tired and to be perfectly frank, a little bit dirty. Right up the street there's Whole Foods (yes, I know it's more expensive), it's bright and clean with lots of happy people to help you, but it doesn't feel that way at all inside Stop & Shop. The self-checkout is horrendous. There a bad user experience between the scanner touchpad and the actual credit card unit software. And maybe I'm old school, but 10 cents per bag? Actuall, if the bags actually didn't break the moment you fill them, I wouldn't mind it, but they do. Food is expensive enough, Stop and Shop needs to do better.

Spectacular, everything very organized, very fresh products and very friendly employees, although I did not find anyone who spoke Spanish, they were very kind and tried to help me and they succeeded.

Self checkout scanners at Stop & Shop are the worst thing in the grocery universe. No other store has as many “place your item in the bagging area” errors. Nice people, nice enough stores, higher prices than other grocers, convenient locations.
