Reached out for a quote for a couch removal...was told someone would come out take a look and they would reach back out with a price....then 4days later after calling for a qoute and no returned phone call...i come home to the couch gone and a bill on my door I never approved the removal nor was given a price or a call back...planned on getting rid of it myself but didn't have chance was taken without my permission

Wow, this place is unbelievably audacious. Is zero stars possible?
Back in December, Griff's suddenly stopped picking up my tr@$h and when I called the (incredibly rude guy, probably the owner), the details of which are below, under "December, 2023) accused me of basically wanting something for nothing (service for not paying).
Suffice it to say, before quitting this horrible tr@$h service, I had felt occasionally like I was overpaying, but because they don't bill on a timely, monthly cycle, I had no easy way to prove it. Also, the service itself - meaning the guy who picked up my bags - was decent so I let it go. ,
Now I'm SURE of it. I just got a bill (posting a picture of it) for December-February. I QUIT THIS COMPANY IN DECEMBER, requested a bill in total, paid that total. This happened AFTER the owner insinuated I was trying to get "something for nothing" out of him.
Well...I haven't used this service since December, and yet guess what I got in the mail yesterday (March 14)! Maybe he thinks people are trying to "get something for nothing" from him because that's exactly what he does to others.
Don't use this company. They have terrible ethics.

UPDATE, one star.
They did not bill me on a monthly basis. Sometimes I'd get a 70.00 charge, sometimes a 30.00 one...it was never EXACTLY month by month.
Welllllllllllllll, my credit card renewed a few months ago and Griff's DID notify me by mail that they needed an update. I'm not going to leave that information on a voice mail so I called and left a message (TWICE!) to have them call me back. Then I forgot about it, and since they DID NOT BILL ME ON A 30 cycle, I didn't look at my statement and think, "Huh, Netflix is on here, Prime is on here, etc., but where is Griff's? If I had been paying month by month like I do with everything else, I would have noticed.
So, bottom line - they passed by my cans and when I called the guy I talked to said I hadn't paid my bill. That part didn't bother me - I get it, I needed to do an update and the office hasn't called me back, I hadn't noticed any lack of payment - it COULD have been a mighty easy fix. INSTEAD, he said (paraphrased), "Those who do the work should get paid and those who don't pay don't get the work". He got QUICKLY hostile - as if I had gladly been a solid customer for a couple of years and then suddenly decided to purposely not bothered to pay but had plunked my bags out there anyway.
It was a miscommunication that could have been fixed tomorrow by me just calling in my card during their office hours, but that guy I spoke with treated me like I was trying to scam them and their hardworking ethic. So...I am reducing my review to a one star and I don't think anybody should use a service where if you happen to have a miscommunication glitch, they accuse you of purposely not paying. I managed a construction company and understand how bill payment works. If you've got somebody who suddenly stops paying, then they call you and ask why you've stopped serving them, it's NEVER a good idea to launch right into, the accusations. I DO understand that between the office and me, we miscommunicated. But the way he acted as if I were purposely trying to not pay is what got me. AGAIN, if they had charged me every thirty days I would have noticed by now and stopped the guy who picked up my bags to say, "The office NEEEEEEEDS to call me back so I can update my card."
I swear, you guys - I am reasonable and I love to work well with people. This guy treated me like a criminal. It turned me off. It was VERY uncalled for an unfair.

Absolutely amazing trash removal service. Today was a blizzard- everywhere was closed for business- and when I went to put out the trash, it was not only emptied, but buckets were neatly flipped so no snow filled them up.
