“My 8 yr old granddaughter and any kid for that matter, loves this store. I love listening to children and their irrational theories on how far the $20 bill is gonna go in $5 below ? I took my granddaughter this past Thursday. I told her, she had a budget of $12 and that's including taxes.I insist she walk around the store 1st instead of grabbing this and then putting it back to grab something else that caught her eye. She kinda does it this way but halfway around the store and she's emotionally invested in many things just like her Nana.She actually made some top Tier picks. The Pat's could use her expertise right about now.She got this really nice deluxe box of sidewalk chalk and some pink headphones to go with MY tablet that ai ended up giving her for that very reason. It's almost as if she planned it that way??♀️”
“The store is messy and not organized very well. Really snotty employees on the floor. The cashier was nice. I bought ring dings 2 for $3.00. But was charged $3.79 each. I didn't realize till I got home. I should have checked my receipt before I left.”

“If you ever need onions, cigarettes, and blinds without going to more than one store this is the place for you. I love me a quirky little bodega; cramped and overloaded with stuff to buy. The staff is great.Minutes from Crompton Park so this store is a great place to stock up on fluids and snacks before heading over to frolic in the grass.”
“This review is for the CASHIER KATIE who handled a tough situation. A customer was completely berating her, accusing her that she was lying about the card declining and then asking why. Of course Katie wasn’t going to be rude and say “you have no money” so she just said she wasn’t sure. She turned around the monitor to show her that it declined. This woman then went on to say how “rude” she was to her and “no wonder why no one can find any help”. Katie said she could speak with her manager if she would like. Katie handled this Karen with grace. Everyone in line was getting so upset that this Karen was being so rude. Kiddos to Katie!!!!”
“I just wanted to take a moment to say I go into this store just about every day. Everyone is always so pleasant and kind. I especially wanted to say Thank You to Angel ( I am not sure of his job title) for always having a smile and being so kind and always providing great customer service. “Pretty much all Family Dollar stores are similar. I find them a bit more crowded than the Dollar Tree stores and merchandise seems to really crowd the shelves, to the point that sometimes it's not pleasing to the eyes...at the same time, many times I see empty shelves where products run out or they haven't re-stocked them. I went into this store in Worcester and I found a few things that I needed, luckily there was no line to check out, so I had no issues shopping and paying. With over 8,000 locations in all states except Alaska and Hawaii, it was the second largest retailer of its type in the United States until it was acquired by Dollar Tree in 2015 and its headquarters operations were moved from Matthews, a suburb of Charlotte, North Carolina, to Chesapeake, Virginia, located in South Hampton Roads. The main difference is that at Family Dollar you can get items at different price points, whereas at Dollar Tree everything is $1.25 or less.”
“I absolutely love this dollar tree. It is always clean and the merchandising is to perfection. Angela the manager is amazing. She leads with her staff and you can tell by the way they all communicate and just by the way the store looks I love this store and I will always be coming to this one only great job, Angela.”
“Like the old saying goes. You get what you pay for and the LED lamps were worth the dollar I paid for each one of them. They've lasted now 5 years and still working great. They are also very durable and stylish. Guess the old saying is wrong in this case. They're worth the dollar & more. I certainly got more than what I paid for in these lamps.”

The store is almost always messy but it is clean.
There is a wide variety of everything the store offers and you can find products from well-known brands for prices that are hard to believe! In fact, I always check the validity of products in general.
For kitchen utensils it is excellent if you want simple and cheap things.
The service is good and there are always parking spaces.”

“I checked out this new Ocean State Job Lot to see how it compared to its predecessor BL. The staff tried to be helpful and answered my questions. I was able to find the stuff I was looking for. They have some decent coffee prices and a senior discount on food the first hour they are open on Mondays. This store is stocked with stuff for winter, spring, and summer already! Handicap accessible. Only one open cashier while I was here. Conveniently located on Rt 12S across the street from the Auburn Mall.”
