“I think his name is Ron unfortunately I'm terrible at remembering names. Anyway he helped me for over an hour finding me shoes that would fit and not hurt since I have a collapsed ankle. He was extremely knowledgeable patient helpful and kind. He showed me a pair of Brooks running shoes that even he had as well as my orthopedic Dr. I watched him help others as well being extremely attentive to their needs. He helped more than one person at a time. Ron applies immense service and commitment to the store. A couple of weeks later I bought a folding chair that I saw outside and got a new one. The Maynard Outdoor Store has quality items and superb service. The staff that checks you out are extremely helpful patient and kind. I like the atmosphere it's very laid back and rustic. “I came into Charlie’s shop a few weeks ago after making the mistake of buying most of the things I needed to get started from one of the big box stores online. Charlie graciously agreed to help me get my reel set up correctly and invited myself and another customer that was also getting started out to come back the next day for instruction. After taking the opportunity, I was blown away with the time he took out spending with us, teaching us all the basics and arming us with what we needed to go out and begin to enjoy the sport! I’ll definitely be taking up the opportunity to go out with one of the guides and will be going back when it is time to purchase more gear or when it’s time to upgrade. Highly recommend!”

“Shopped this store the past 2 days for sport shirts and slacks. I found the items needed with the help of Ryan. He was extremely helpful, friendly and knew the store stock.The store was very clean and organized. There is plenty of staff available to assist customers, and to keep merchandise looking fresh. Now is especially the time to shop this store, especially if you are looking for particular sizes in athletic clothing; there is plenty of stock and in the full range of sizes.Today was my third visit this week, and once again, Ryan was there to help with an exchange and new purchases.I Han my service dog, Oliver, with me and the store staff were very respectful of his importance to me, and understood the “no petting” protocols that applied to him.”
