I am getting deliveries every 2 weeks. Small amounts. Today 15 gallons. I assume I am paying a delivery charge each time. I am going to switch suppliers if this keeps up.

Amerigas has done a great job keeping my family warm and comfy. Katie, who seems to handle the dispatching and management , does a great job. Communication is key. Thank You!!

After waiting for 40 minutes I was disconnected. This was the 4th time I tried calling to resolve an issue. When my tank is empty I am cancelling my account with Amerigas, the worst customer service in the world!!

The local office & delivery personnel are very helpful, unfortunately when you call phone number it sends you into the automated system and there's no way to reach your local office. The automated system uses an international call center where service representatives read off a script and supervisors refuse to help, putting the blame on the customer for any issues you may have.

WORST customer service experience in memory! On 11/13, we detected the smell of propane gas in our Cape Cod cottage. Paul, from Amerigas came to the house and diagnosed a small leak, but could not determine the source of the leak. Paul turned off the gas and locked the tank until someone from service could come to the house to further diagnose and fix the problem. Unfortunately, apart from two electric space heaters, the propane is our only source of heat for this seasonal cottage.I received a call from the service department on 11/13 indicating that Carlos, a service tech would be coming to our home later in the day after he finished a repair in Westport, MA. Carlos never showed up and we received an automated email message indicating that our issue had been resolved. It has not.On 11/14, I have made 3 calls to Amerigas helpline pleading for someone from the service department to call me. During the last call with a supervisor, I was told that on the electronic calendar, a service appointment had been made for 11/20. There is no way we are able to wait that long--our pipes could freeze by then....I called two more times on 11/15 with the same empty promises that someone would call, but with no result. I feel completely forgotten at best and rudely neglected at worst. When I call customer service all I get is a call center (sounds like the Philippines) and they are just reading off a script and have no idea what to do with my situation. They keep saying that they are sending messages to the "service team" but they cannot give me any assurance that I will actually receive a call. No one has access to a phone number whereby you can speak with anyone on the service team.We had hoped to enjoy the final weeks of the season at our cottage but may be forced to turn off everything and close up for the season. More than disappointed--furious!The only real response I received was when I wrote an email to Madison and Autumn in your social media department--they were very responsive but by that point, it was too late to restore my confidence with Amerigas customer care. This morning, 11/20, a service person did come to the house and diagnose the problem but will need to come back with the right part another day, which is fine. He was very professional and was the only bright star in this whole experience.

We arrived at our vacation home to find that the propane level was in the red zone at 20% even though we are on a fixed delivery schedule of every 3 weeks and use your automatic payment feature. When I called to try and find out how the tank got to be so low and to get an delivery ASAP, I was told that a delivery had been made on October 24th, and that another delivery could not be made unless I wanted to pay an additional $300 for an emergency delivery. The date of that first call was Nov. 1st or 2nd and there was no way we could have used that much propane in such a short time. We did not want to pay the extra $300 so we just tried not to use the heat or hot water over our long weekend stay. When I returned to my home, I called Amerigas again and the person I spoke with this time said that a delivery had not been made on October 24th and that there was some sort of delivery hold that had been placed on our account and there was no reason for the hold and it was clearly a mistake on the part of Amerigas. She said it looked like Amerigas had missed more than one delivery. She offered to make and immediate delivery for free before our scheduled delivery on Nov 14th but that was the last long weekend we planned to use it for the season so I declined. Now I feel like I have to double check everything to make sure Amerigas is following through. Does not inspire confidence.

Eddie was very helpful in making sure that there was no leak. He then quickly checked our water heater and determined that the igniter was not working. He was courteous and helpful and friendly. We are very satisfied.

Amerigas has decent delivery service people BUT the customer service is terrible. They do not answer their emergency phone line — I have waited several hours in a freezing house while no one answered. And the bills are impossible to decipher, and when you call for an explanation, you get a different figure than the figure on the bill. Also I have been charged late fees even after I have paid the bill on time. I will switch to another provider as soon as I can.
