I was overcharged by $1,500 because the agent receiving the car back entered the incorrect mileage into the system, and it never occurred to them that it’s physically impossible for 1 person to drive 7,000 miles in 5 days, especially within a 30-mile radius. Customer service credited me back, but staff at the Hyannis airport need to wake up!

Such a great helpful staff. Very nice! They let us upgrade our SUV at no charge. My husband is 6'5"s and could not fit in the SUV we chose. I recommend them highly.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Went to pick up the rental 2 hours earlier and they quickly washed and brought me the car.

Absolutely horrendous. There is a good chance that if you reserve a car, you will get there and there will be no car for you. No apology, no alternatives suggested, no apparent awareness that this may mean that you miss your flight in Boston ..nothing at all! This has happened more than once and never again. There must be nice people who work there but..i have not met them and have used this counter many times over and finally decided to pay a little more in order to (A) actually get a car that i rented; and (B) have a person who can actually speak to you without apparent hatred towards customers.

One way rentals from Cape Cod to Logan are difficult to find but Budget offers this service at a reasonable rate.

Just rented a car for one day in August, 2023 and it came with cockroaches! The didn't see them right away, so by the time we discovered them, we were already half way to Boston (Drop-off point). We could not get out of that car fast enough. We notified the customer service at the drop off location and got a quiet Sorry. That's it, no more Budget for us.

UPDATE: Budget reversed the refueling fee which was greatly appreciated; however, the charge should have never occurred. Reservation for midsized SUV. Office supposed to open at 8am. Staff showed at 810 and took about 10 minutes to open. Vehicle reserved not available, so upgraded us which was fine. Took about 30 minutes for new empmoyee to enter information. Just gave us key and sent on way. No vehicle check by them. I checked for damage. Fuel at 1/4 tank. Fueled about 30 minutes out. Returned vehicle same day at 6 pm; staff had already exited.Received email receipt next day to show was charged $130 refueling fee!!!!! Vehicle returned with more fuel than when left.No paper contract signed. No notation that must duel at beginning and return fully fueled (ie. Paying for someone else's previous use).

Car key had low battery so I couldn’t unlock the car in the middle of night. It was so scary and cold. I was able to get into the car after 20 minutes, but this experience several times during the trip was a waste of time.

Terrible service here. I rented a car. Left an item in it and was told to come back and retrieve the item from lost and found. Took three times to get my item back. The lines are long to get service. They are running 2 rental car companies,Avis and Budget out of one location. The one person they have can not keep up. One day there was no one working and just a phone number to call. I noticed Hertz and enterprise both were moving people thru quick. Even if it’s more money, it’s not worth the hassle or renting from Budget
