Athletic staff seems ok, childcare is great, but front desk staff is consistently rude and unpleasant. On top of that, but family pool seems like it's always closed. They don't even apologize or really explain why they can't figure it out. If there were other options on Cape I'd definitely go there!

Terry the manager was incredibly rude and treated me like a fraud criminal when visiting the gym in Cape Cod. My fiancé and I normally go to the Redbrook gym and are nothing but 5 star happy. She called Redbrook after seeing my app and ID - after calling realized it was her typo. Never an apology and I had to ask the janitor where to go to workout. The least she could have done is give a sorry and kindly pointed me in the right direction.

For the amount they get from each member why do they have mold growing in the family showers?!?! Looked like something out of a horror movie. We came from CT on vacation and walked right out because of how disgusting it is.

I was there on Saturday for my first swim and really like it. The staff were great and friendly, everything was clean. A lot of families were there with their young children for swim lessons in the small pool. If you are looking for a place to swim laps this one of the few around.

The Cape Cod YMCA is a real disappointment. There are constant lifeguard shortages. The pool has its own issues albeit they may now be repaired and cleaned. The men's locker has 6 sinks and only one is operational. If there were other facilities with an Olympic size pool, I would not be a member!

A nice facility. The exercise room, however, is like a sauna at 70 degrees in winter. Less money spent on heat would create a place where people want to exercise without drowning in a puddle of sweat.

The YMCA is a great facility. I love the workout area, and the pool. I go early in the mornings and there is plenty of space to swim and do my workouts. Nice staff and it is always clean.

I want to support the Y, but they're making it extremely difficult. Back in March 2020, when I cancelled my membership, they froze it instead and then continued charging me. It took multiple emails to resolve. Now that I've renewed my membership, things look like they've taken a nosedive. Despite a year of lockdown to make improvements, the pool and men's locker room are dirty. Only two showers are functional, for obscure reasons, and don't heat up quickly. The pool itself is cold (broken air handler?) Upstairs, a huge portion of the floor real estate is taken up by a Queenax rig that is barely used, while the space in front of the mirror is minuscule and constantly fought over.Look, the Y doesn't "deserve" money. Make it a good experience and your customers will keep paying. Otherwise, this place is going to keep sliding and revenues will keep dropping. Make better decisions. Do better.

Great place, calm, clean, helpful staff. Best Gym on the cape for those looking for a quiet place to exercise.

So grateful for this Y! They have done a great job with safety protocols around COVID, sanitizing, social distancing. I feel confident in going to use the weight room, bikes and treadmills here. Staff couldn't be more helpful or pleasant. It is so important to keep healthy in this time, and working out helps keep the stress level down.

I was on a scholarship and was charged a full membership fee after the YMCA closed back in march. I spoke to Zachary Swierat about canceling the membership so I couldn’t be charged for services that cant be used. He recommended me still pay the fee’s to help support the YMCA. After insisting this was not what I wanted he instead “froze” my account allowing it to be reinstated months later. Its now August and I had to speak to Cynthia Bernard twice about two more full priced charges on my account. Thats a total of $183 illegally stolen after three attempts to ask them to stop taking my money! This is a christian facility that is illegally withdrawing money from the people they claim to be helping. There are many people on the cape who cannot afford to have that money taken from them, without warning, during this pandemic. Thank god I am so vigilant when checking my bank account. Ive had to change my card info after such failures in their finance department. Please check your account incase they’re doing the same to you! Shame on you YMCA!
