“The staff there are amazingly helpful and so positive. Every time I've ever gone to HBE I've always felt valued as a customer. Recently took my bike here for an update to tires before a quickly planned out of state bike trip. They were also able to replace brake pads, adjust cables and do what was needed with a great turn around time. Took a ride yesterday and my bike rode like new (it's about 10-12 years old).”

“Was quoted 75-100$ & 5-7 days to fix a missing wheel spoke silver thingy, internal gear slippage, loose brakes and general creakyness. No communication until bike was fixed 4 days later where I got a voicemail to come pick it up. Total was 100$ and all the problems seem fixed and it definitely feels faster now (although that might just be the tires being low when I brought it in). Idk if its the best deal in town (UMass bike coop is an option but they're backlogged for weeks lol). But it only took 4 days and feels better to ride, so I'm happy! (also the guy running the shop seems nice)”
