“I came into the Red Wing Shoes in Danvers pretty frustrated over an online order and asked to speak to the manager. I started explaining (okay, maybe venting a little) to the employee helping me — only to find out she was actually the manager, Brynne. I’ll admit, I was short and irritated at first, but Brynne stayed calm, patient, and handled everything like a pro. Even though I could tell she was dealing with my frustration, she never once got rude or defensive. She listened, figured out the issue, and fixed it right there. By the time I left, I went from angry to impressed. She completely turned the situation around — Brynne deserves major credit for that.”

Their selection was really good and the prices were even better than some comparable shoes I was searching online.Like other Rack Room shoes, you basically search and try anything by yourself. Minimal customer assistance, but I am used to their approach and I don't mind.”

The sales rep was extremely helpful and searched in clearance while I browsed the store sections she pointed out that would have what I was looking for. “I just want to give a shout out to the two young ladies working in the Peabody shop last night (10/1/21). I went in with my daughter looking for some new items. I grabbed a bunch of items and was greeted warmly and had my items placed in the dressing room. I took my time. I was asked a few times if I needed any assistance. When I checked out I was treated so nicely and even reopened my account. I headed to the door with purchase to find the 2nd associate unlocking the door. To my surprise they closed at 6 pm. I had NO idea. It was 6:45. Not once did they tell me they were closed or tried to rush me. It was a Friday night and I assumed they were open later. Thank you for making my experience so pleasant. And please accept my sincerest apologies for being so oblivious.”

She has suggested that I try things on that I would have walked past—and they’re my favorites! “I had a good experience with a staff member on Sunday afternoon. He was patient while my son tried different sneakers that my son could slide on easily. My son needed shoes ? that he could walk trails and help prevent blisters. All of the shoes ? and merchandise are expensive, but, we were given a return of purchase option if the shoes ? don't work out.Facemasks required to enter store. Staff were wearing facemasks. You are emailed a receipt . Store was busy. Hand sanitizer available at the entrance.”

“I took my niece to Claire’s today and she was really scared to get her ears pierced. The girls at the store, Ellie and Taylor were very sweet and patient with her. They explain to me that it is better for the two of them to pierce her ears at the same time. So after about a half hour they were able to do it. She didn't even cry! She looks so adorable! I highly recommend these two young ladies!”
