I wouldn’t even give this company one star if it weren't for Google's requirement to rate before writing a review. I arrived at Orlando airport around 10 PM and struggled to find their shuttle bus. Despite calling the company at least five times, no one answered. Ultimately, I had to rent from another, more reliable vendor. To add insult to injury, they charged me $50 the next day, claiming I didn't show up! This experience was extremely disappointing. I'd willingly pay more to deal with a more reputable company than face this hassle again.

Still waiting for my deposit back!!! It's been over 21 days , I've written a complaint and called still to no avail. Please management contact me asap!!!!!!! Or I will file lawsuit.

Rental company had no vehicles. I was left stranded at the car rental facility with my wife and four kids. You make a reservation so you have a vehicle and this company failed at the most basic business level.

Do not ever rent a car from this place! Some how this company stole money from my account. when I went online to secure a reservation of no charge, after I put in my card information and submitted, an error message came up stating that "this can not be completed at this time" I decided to take my business elsewhere and DID NOT reserve a car from them. Over a month later, they took out money from my account! When I called some women was extremely rude and confessing to me. I stated I have money taken off my card and would like to know why? She stated unless I have a contract number she cant help me. I proceeded to tell her I do not have one because I never rented a car from them. She said that's my problem and she can not do anything about that. I had to file a fraud claim with my bank.

My experience at Advantage car Rental was extremely underwhelming. The first day I got there I had to wait 2 hours and after waiting those to hours for a car I had already reserved was not there, I had two options, two huge cars.. I was charged three times the price of my original reservation and was succumbed to drive a huge car around for 2 days... for imagination purposes I’m 5’1... when I came back to exchange the car and the man told me I would be reimbursed when I reimbursed for the extra charges... when I came to return the car I was met with rude and hostile staff who began to argue with me in front of other customers and my daughter... The young man said that he had told me one thing when he told me something completely different... still, I was not reimbursed the obscene extra charges & two days of my vacation were ruined... frustrated and angry is a HUGE understatement... will never be doing business with them again .

I rented a car from Advantage Rent A Car while back on the east coast for my father’s funeral. The desk rep lied and told me I’d need to pay for a toll pass to avoid a bunch of extra toll fees between Boston and Rhode Island. It would have been about $20 total if I had done it my way, but with the toll pass she pushed on me, it was an extra $10 per day that I had the car (which was 5 days).

We had a great experience with this company and their car rental. Customer service at the airport was friendly and helpful, same with the people we met when returning the car. The car was great, got good gas mileage. We would definitely use Advantage again!

The customer service was excellent at the reservation desk. The young lady at the reservation desk was pleasant, professional and very knowledgeable.I forget her name even though she identified herself ! sorry. .The check in and check out service was exceptional.

Yeah, 1 star is right. Less if possible. I couldn't even find their location at Boston Logan Airport's car rental center. I asked the Jamaican security guards at the car rental center. They said they "Neva 'erd of sotch a ting." I asked several other rental car companies where the H this Advantage Car Rental place was. They all were equally perplexed, like apes holding a sextant. It seems strange that a man, college-educated, with a GPS and capable of reading and writing the English language, was incapable of finding a rental car company's business counter within the confines of a relatively small building. They should call themselves Loch Ness Monster Car Rental, because something fishy is going on and no one has ever seen Nessie, but we've all heard about it, except for the aforementioned Jamaican Left-hand side Dutchie cops (though I'm sure they'd take that blunt from any direction). Frankly, I've never seen such a low Yelp score. I ended up using Dollar Rent-A-Car, a company which should in fact call themselves Several Hundred Dollars Rent-A-Car.

Advantage car rental was fast, easy, and efficient! I will definitely be using them again! The cost for my car rental was by far the best. My car was great! I was pleased with their service from beginning to end.

I had an amazing experience with Advantage and when looking to rent another vehicle, they will be the first place I will check. The reasons I would recommend advantage are for three main points: competitive pricing, customer service, and ease of process. Most companies will have at least one of these options, but during my experience, advantage had all three.

Horrible experience, when my plane arrived and attempted to just pick up the already reserved and paid for vehicle, they made me pay again in addition to the security deposit. They suggested to speak to management but management couldn’t do anything about it either even when I showed receipts of my reservation payment.They stated they couldn’t see my payment at all, so how come they found my reservation then? I also had paid to get an SUV and they gave me a regular car; for the same price I had paid twice already! Management suggested for me to call Priceline myself and contest the whole situation. This should be responsibly of the business to business agreement they both have. Absolutely a nightmare, especially that I was stuck in an airport alone, away from home, late at night and I had no choice but to accept their conditions.

Beware of their deceptive practices and hidden charges. I reserved a full size vehicle through Priceline, but received a SUV unbeknownst to me. The agent who issued me the vehicle never once told me she had upgraded my reservation, and therefore didn't tell me that there would be a surcharge if I decline their insurance for SUVs and minivans. In retrospect, I should have demanded clarification when I walked out to my vehicle and saw that it was a SUV. But then again, I have never had this issue with any of the major rental companies, so I just assumed that the didn't have enough full-size vehicles available and issued me a SUV out of necessity. Unfortunately, I initialed their rental agreement, accepting their terms of waiving their insurance option. I contacted Advantage's customer service department and informed them their lack of notification regarding their waiver fee for SUVs & minivans should negate my understanding of their liability terms. Their customer service consistently referenced their liability terms and did not reverse the fees. BEWARE of this company's unethical practices and hidden fees!!!

The agent at the counter was very polite and friendly. The process was quick and no haggling g about insurance coverage. The price was great so i was perfectly satisfied. .

Counter experience started with hyper-aggressive attempts to sell their insurance even when I told them I had my own. Agent hinted that other policies would not be honored and all sorts of problems would ensue. At one point went so far as to say "you definitely need to buy our insurance". Same process with the other options. Finally when I was about to get the car, found that they had assigned me a full-size when I had reserved a compact. When asked to change to a size close to something that I had reserved, and they reacted with exasperation (agent on the phone tocolleague "I had already printed out the contract and *everything* " -- this despite my being the only customer).
