It is a no frills store with a sawdust on the floor kind of ascetic, wall to wall full of wines, beers, and spirits. They offer incredible selections at the best and very fair prices, which are more attainable than other liquor stores in the area. The friendly staff and family are great to newcomers and locals, treating every person and even furry pets like friends. They have a long history contributing to the community. While they have a moderate selection, they are helpful and can often order items for you. The store provides free delivery in Southie and is in a good location. Customers report pleasant experiences with reasonable prices and nice service, making it a preferred local choice over other establishments.

These are my peeps. I live next to a liquor store, but will drive to Al's from the opposite end of Southie if I need something. Mostly because the team is great and I love talking to them, but their wine prices are also the best in town. Helpful when you like to entertain!
