“We stumbled upon this wonderful place as we were visiting Boston, the people in this place are welcoming. One of the people said to check out their cellar and OMG, we felt like kids in a candy store?. The first bottle we bought was a chablis premiere cru and it was sooooo delicious (after refrigerating it for 6 hours and have it out for 20 mins)! We went there again to buy 3 more bottles of red wines 2 days after. If you like wine, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING AT THIS PLACE. The entire time we were there, I can say this is my favorite place in Boston. Will update this review of how the other bottles are.
P.S. they did say that every Friday, they host FREE wine tasting.
Update 1: As I told Jill (shoutout to her, she gave us awesome recommendations), Ill say what I think about the wines we bought. We tried the Vacqueyras she likes, and yessss ?, this is delicious! It was rich in taste, and has that peppery, earthy and fruity taste to it.”

“My son and I have made the rounds, on a mission to find the best burger in the area. People assume that Gary's is a liquor store with a deli who makes only sandwiches. They have excellent daily hot specials. Back to the point. My son and I grabbed a couple burger plates w/fries, cooked medium 👌🏼 I won't give it up. Go try it yourself.”
“Update: I had originally dropped off three packages here as a UPS access point on Memorial Day. The packages were tampered with and went missing, prompting my initial one star review. After leaving this review, the owner Aymen reached out personally, investigated the situation, and made it right. He was responsive, professional, and genuinely cared about resolving the issue which I truly appreciate.
That said, I would suggest the store work on staff communication and follow-through, as my interactions with employees during this process were unhelpful and went unresolved for weeks.

“Theyve got everything you need including premium cigars packed from the manufacturers in plastic humidor travel bags that I just realized in the last month after a couple yrs., the best prices in town, & the best price Ive found anywhere on what was already my favorite cigar--Perdomo Champagne. The storefront is tight but the selection is impeccable, they own the whole bldg. & I'd say theyve got about 8x the storage space, & the whole staff is gr8. Id drive elsewhere if I thought another store were better, & if I move outta the neighborhood I'll still patronize this shop.”

“Fewer interesting beers than when I was there a few years ago. They used to have loads of saisons and wild ales. Now the only few they had were way to expensive for me. Still great selection of IPAs, if that's your thing.”

“Since I am in self-imposed lockdown due to covid, your delivery service has been wonderful! Your delivery usually arrives on the same day as ordered and has always been accurate. If there is one slight inaccuracy, it is that the size of the gin bottles on display does not state COSTS!. True, I find that out when I get to "buy." But then I might have to reorder. Also, person to person contact with staff members is always polite and professional!”
“This is a hole in the wall with a secret treasure downstairs, underneath the roads above: It has a fantastic wine cellar with an incredibly knowledgeable staff, Len (the proprietor) in particular. These folks really, really know their wines, and they are very passionate. They will work with you to find you exactly what you are looking for. From something nice for the every day to something majestic for a Saturday night or special occasion. And their scotch selection is also fantastic. Joe, the manager of the scotch business there, is equally knowledgeable and passionate. This is a wonderful hidden gem in plain sight. It looks like a cheap packie, but man, what a shop.”

“I live nearby this place so they see me rather often. The ownership has changed hands but the new guys seem to have a handle on it. There have been no wild price hikes as far as I can tell. If they're not the best priced packy they're close. The store is always well stocked, quite large, and they'll order specialty items if you ask them, fancy whiskey or wine for example. I have nothing bad to say about the place as long as they have my whiskey in stock, and I make em work for it.”

“This place feels like a home and the workers are super nice and always give me recommendations. Every time I walk in, i am pleasantly greeted with a “what’s up bro” which I truly appreciate. They have fair prices, a fair selection, and are always helpful. They were even open during the recent blizzard that was one of the worst in years, but they stayed open because they love the people. I’ll remember this place for the rest of my life.”
