2-5-2024, 12:56pm - First gift card purchase attempt was “used and invalid” with 4 digit PIN not tampered. Credit card was charged with no receipt. Manager said allegedly transaction was canceled but still charged by bank and got scammed out of $1,000. Buyers beware buy in cash or go to Lynnfield store.

Have been there twice. Both times was helped by Darren, who was amazing. He knew exactly what I needed (which was different than what I came in looking for), pointed out things I had missed, and helped me with fit. I would come back again just for his advice.

I rarely write reviews but was compelled to call out Julian at the Newbury store who helped me with an in store repair of a Macai jacket that I would have otherwise needed to send out for repair during the winter (less than ideal). Julian was not only attentive when I described the problem, but he proposed thoughtful solutions that allowed me to hang on to the jacket when I needed it the most (January in Boston)! The Arc’teryx products speak for themselves in terms of quality, but it is the exceptional customer service and experience that will have me coming back.

The staff here this year are not interested in selling anything. I went here multiple times this year. Every time I went here, the staff were basically talking and joking to each other. They could not answer any questions. They are lacking in knowledge. Could fire most of them because they are useless. It was not like this last year.

Long time customer of arcteryx as a whole, but recently became aware of Veilance. Came in with a couple questions and was lucky enough to talk to Julian, who came through with a frankly astonishing depth of information on the brand. Wonderful experience, very much looking forward to my first coat from them.

Had a great experience with Darren in the Newbury Street store. He exhibited a full knowledge of the products and helped me pick the right jacket for my intended use.Will be back for layers later this spring.

My family and I went in looking to buy ski clothes and our experience at the store was very different the first time we entered versus the second. The first time we went in, we were on our own. The workers barely approached us and did not help with much. Our second time was extremely different, however, with Darren’s help. He approached us as soon as we walked into the door and helped us out all the way to checkout. We walked out with exactly what we needed and more. Darren is a goatee employee.

Horrible customer service and quality is low given the price. Have the Macai jacket - it is fine but multiple zippers broke after 1 winter of use. The company will not repair in store. Need to pay out of pocket to send the jacket to a repair center during the only months that I actually need the jacket.Massive headache.
