About Boston Private Industry Council
The Boston Private Industry Council (PIC) is a nonprofit organization that works to strengthen Boston’s communities and workforce by connecting youth and adults with education and employment opportunities. It serves as the city’s MassHire Workforce Board and school-to-career intermediary, bringing together employers, educators, and workforce organizations to guide education and workforce preparation. PIC helps support youth by building their professional skills and providing high school internships that give valuable experience and encourage college preparation. The organization offers many resources and connections, especially to students in Boston Public Schools, helping them explore future careers. The work of PIC is highly appreciated for opening opportunities and supporting young people’s success. The Boston PIC helps support youth build professional skills that will help them become successful. They do a great job of getting young people in High School internships to build experience as they start thinking about college. The offer so much support, we need more organizations like the Boston PIC.

V appreciative of the work PIC does! As the Early College Coordinator at CHS - the bridge we have with PIC has been smooth and it's been amazing having our students be presented such wonderful opportunities to continue their interest in future careers.
