“We serendipitously happened upon the Freedom Trail Foundation tour while traveling through Boston on the way to Maine. Because we found and bought the tickets day of, my partner and I had relatively tempered expectations-- we really just wanted an affordable walking tour that'd give us a taste of Boston. Thanks to our lovely guide, Jeremiah Poope, our expectations were well exceeded! His knowledge of Boston's colonial and revolutionary routes had breadth and depth. Jeremiah's sense of humor was greatly entertaining-- his jabs at Paul Revere convinced me that the iconic figure's importance was indeed inflated in American history narratives!! Kind-hearted and spirited, Jeremiah did a wonderful job ensuring all guests were able to follow along and hear him well. We truly enjoyed learning more about Boston and its extensive history. If you are searching for a Freedom Trail walking tour, you are sure to enjoy a FTF tour if Jeremiah Poope is any indication of the merit of its guides. Huzzah!”

“I, have been visiting, this Salvation Army, on Washington Street, here in Boston, MA, for many years. There, is more than one, Salvation Army location, in Boston, MA. This Washington street, Salvation Army, has a food bank, can provide a clothing voucher for Goodwill, and sometimes has other items available, like suitcases, and clothing. This Salvation Army food bank, has kept me, fed, and living better, with generous amounts, on non-perishable foods, for a number of years, and their services, are available, to others, who are poor, and/or, completely homeless-as, I am. “Thank you so much for this wonderful place. I’m an active duty Sailor and this place was recommended to me by my CO. Stayed three nights and slept like a baby. Wonderful breakfast and coffee available all day long. Seriously appreciate this R&R opportunity before heading back out to sea again. Some pics of my room (the mess is my fault; I’m about to check out)There are a few rules that come with staying here so if your goal is come to Boston to get sloshed this might not be the right place to stay the night.Driving and need to park overnight?Postal parking garage is about a 18 min walk from here. $9 a night.”

“I love this place. There's home goods and clothes, sometimes a vintage rack in the back. It's all end brands, often with the tags on, sold at half price or below. And best part is the money goes to Boomerangs and their mission to support the AIDS Action Fund. It's guilt free shopping.”

“This is a brilliant much needed social work slash reentry reintegration and rehabilitation program that is an oasis in a dried sea turned desert wastelandWhile true social reforms in this historically Confusing land of far liberal philanthropists and advocates , the multiverse of American academia is firmly seated here with a related sub niche of medical research firms and they're constituents with they're specific set of political agenda goals aspirations and beliefs , lower middle class democratic working but yet morally conservative Irish , Conservative Italian Americans and they're stronghold and bastion of old world charm New England beauty and a very very strong European influence in the north end, outreach , harm.reduction modules and a variety of other programs intranets and infrastructure (s) are slowly but surely blossoming like black tipped red roses cracking concrete and growing up thru it???And this is one of the old guard as it were in an area of unsurpassed growth and finally responsible transparent and therefore accountable $pendingSo yeah I cant say enough about what these people are doingMost people don't realize how real the class division is in the United StatesOnes mans dream.........is another man's night terrorSo yeah I know I ranted unintelligibly for most of this partial review partial social statementBut I salute and commend this organization and not just what they do and aim to doBut also for the life changing potential that it could have , you never know but a lack of a proper set of dress clothing can limit your options in many different parts of life ( when you need but don't have , and especially when the suit is the last piece to your re integration re entry sobriety etc al journeyI'm of the school of thought that ( this is from the Talmud )To save a single human soul is as if you saved every soul in the world”

“The TCC is an amazing non-profit childcare center in the heart of Boston. It is located on the 2nd floor of the State Transportation building. Our twins have attended since about 6 months of age and are currently in the junior preschool classroom, and our infant daughter is enrolled in the infant classroom. The teachers and leadership are great and caring. The facility is secure and includes a wonderful private roof-top outdoor play deck which the children get to enjoy year-round (weather permitting). During the summer the classrooms also occasionally take trips to the Public Garden or the local firehouse to take advantage of this central location. Our twins love attending and have learned so much from the curriculum. The TCC uses the Tadpoles app for documenting each day's activities and the teachers include lots of pics. There is an underground parking garage that one can use for free for 30 minutes for drop-offs and pick-ups by car if needed. The students come from all over Boston to attend, including families like us who live close by and walk, those whose parents work in the building, or those who see the TCC as a center of excellence and is worth driving to for their kids. As it is a non-profit, the prices are great as well. We highly recommend it!”

“My experience with my doctors and nurses and all the staff at South Boston Community Health Center has been life changing - Very positive!!!I used to belong to the major health center in Boston. It grew too big and patients like me became invisible. I switched to SBCHC about 3 years ago. I always have quick responses from the staff when I have questions regarding my health or any insurance or billing issue. As a man who check the "YES" box if asked if I belonged to a minority group, I find the health center very welcoming. I am very glad to have found all my care under one roof. I am relieved to have found you after years of a decline in care from the former major health center in the Fenway area of Boston.Great job SBCHC! Thank you!”

“The best cheeseburgers money can buy, If the cheeseburgers at Fuddruckers had babies with the cheeseburgers at Five Guys , and they had triplets & those triplets were put onto one triple cheeseburger. What we would have, would be the most mouthwatering cheeseburger in Massachusetts”

“Amanda Proctor 105 Chancy St needs to be notified. I am unable to leave a review as it says permanently closed and all reviews were shut off. She is the most amazing person I have ever met. In fact the team consists of Dan, Emma, Ellie, Matt and the list goes on, we lost Mike but I feel he is still with us in spirit. You all help on the street and off the street. You are Veteran Advocates and someday I'll be able to repay you. I know you all do not do this for the money, you do it because you care. God bless you all and thank you all. If I left your name out it's only because I have a bad memory. My brain just doesn't work like normal people. It takes a certain type of person to do the job that you all do. But you all have helped me so much and you know who you are. I am so grateful it moves me deeply. To a point now I'm going to get what I need to get done. In order to help other Veterans that live not to far. l will never forget and love and thank you all. You ever have a problem on the street you know where to go. M. L”

“I haven't personally experienced this opportunity yet but I was so excited to read about it in a book. I think it's amazing that The Writer's Room is willing to offer such a deal in honor of the art. I read about it in Elizabeth Bergs "Escapping into the Open. The Art of Writing True." This is only one of many tips that I have benefited from and I'm not even a quarter the way through the book. I'm looking forward to reading the rest and looking into the writing room when I'm able to. Thank you to those who strive to keep writers alive and inspired.:)”

“We booked space at the nonprofit center for a networking dinner and guest speaker for our members. We had a large conference room with tables and chairs. It was already set up for us, but for the few tables we decided to move around at the last minute, it was easy because everything was on wheels! Wifi password was clearly posted and wifi worked well. The space we used, the hallways, and the restrooms were clean and tidy. We were very happy to find this affordable space that was perfect for our needs. Staff of the center was an absolute joy to work with and the security guard they contracted for our event was also fantastic. Oh - and it's right across the street from South Station (literally a 3 minute walk) so that's convenient!”
