What was once a wonderful company is in complete disarray. I ordered two shirts and two weeks after my order they sent me an email saying my shipping was delayed. So, I called and canceled the order. Then eight days later I received and email saying my order has shipped. I call, and ask why and was told nothing could be done, it can't be recalled so I asked about my refund. We're processing it, I was told. It's now a week later, no shirts and no refund.

Filson's Boston store delivers a top notch customer experience. In addition to a great selection of Filson products, the staff is first rate. They are knowledgeable about each product and handled a recent exchange with ease. It's always a pleasure to stop here when in Boston.

My family and I are in Boston this weekend and we visited the Filson Store as I like to. The gentleman that helped me there today went above and beyond to find me what I was looking for. Excellent people and excellent products. Thank you again for the help.

I recently visited Filson and had an outstanding experience, largely thanks to the exceptional customer service provided by the kind staff! When I walked into the store, a worker greeted me, took the time to understand what I was looking for, and guided me through various options without being pushy or condescending.
The store's presentation and attention to detail made the entire shopping experience enjoyable, almost like shopping in an antique barn. There was plenty of space to linger and ponder purchases. The quality and longevity of the clothes seem on par with far more expensive brands. The only fault I see in the store is not related to their service, ambiance, or style—only their lack of a women's section! Filson seems to be reaching out in that direction, but I feel like they could do more than just pink and strange prints. I would love to see more muted basics in the collection. That said, I adore the men's collection. I appreciate seeing a company embracing tried-and-true designs with an eco mindset.
The eloquent way that Charles, the staff member who assisted me, explained each product, its history, construction, and applicability to my wardrobe shows that Filson genuinely values the products they create. I would definitely recommend stopping in!

After landing in Boston from Texas, ahead of a road trip through Maine, I had to visit this location for a rare opportunity to browse Filson goods in-store. Not only does this outlet have a generous range of Filson's excellent core and seasonal items, but they also have an engaging team. I chatted with three team members who all gave great assistance. They located a cap I was looking for in the stockroom, despite it not being available on the floor, and even passed along some of their Maine recommendations before I hit the road! This location is a great representation of the Filson brand. Definitely make time for a visit if you're into heritage outdoor goods and find yourself in the Boston area.

I worked with Colin my first time coming into this store, he was more than professional and took the time answer all my questions and even ship an item to my house that wasn’t available at this location.

Customer service is non existent. Tried calling and the automated system just disconnected (tried 3times)! There email states response within 24 to 48 hours and seven days later nothing. Their return policy states full price items must be received by Filson within 30 days, if you live on the east coast that gives you 14days (seven days to receive your order and seven days to return). So for Christmas I received a waxed coat ( ordered 12/7) the receipt states the return had to arrive by 1/7, with news year holiday there was no way to return by that date. Also, the return policy states that if the item is received after 1/7 the item can be rejected! No information on what happens to the item, returned to you or what. Tried calling the local store but they didn’t answer the phone either. So beware if you know your size then purchase but there’s no return policy in reality!

The store itself has a great vibe with beautiful well-made Men's clothing and accessories. It's on the pricier side but that's to be expected for the Seaport Location. The staff on the other hand was a little painful. I was interested in purchasing a hat for my husband and asked if they had a new one outback (instead of the display) the cashier replied "we don't have any new ones, but I can get you one from outback" um ok, isn't that the same thing?? Then when I went to pay cash, she told me it had to be exact or else she couldn't take it. You don't take cash during the holiday season?? she didn't apologize or offer a potential solution (like try to find two fives from the staff, you know think outside of the box) I just left.
